Lovely hotel for a beach getaway for adults (Baron Resort next door is perfect for families). The location is not far from the airport and is beautifully designed and looked after. Staff are very friendly and attentive to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are 3 bars on site and one on the beach. The restaurant is large with usual array of food types one would expect from all-inclusive service, there are special bar-be-queues laid on in front terrace, plus some enjoyable live entertainment. There are couple of a la carte options, one being traditional Egyptian place way at the back of the property on route the beach, in our experience it didn't seem to be booked much - in my opinion it's because it's next to several shops selling usual stuff (beach wear, 'designer' watches, belts etc) and pesky shop keepers who can be annoying - this is not hotel problem but worth mentioning. Animation team are lovely team working long hours to try engage in some fun, along with some excellent live acts. Special mention to the beautiful Aya! The beach is excellent, the water for couple of hundred yards is warm shallow and perfect for just floating on for hours. At the end of the pier there is snorkelling and scuba diving, both excellent to see the reefs and range of colourful fish in crystal clear water. Highlight of the trip. Hotel negative points: Wifi not so reliable. Restaurant does not label V for vegetarian which is not acceptable, have to keep asking Chef Salah.

Excellent buffet selection

Overall it is great hotel, beach and pool clean and very nice. Rooms are definitely not 5 star but it’s ok, and in my room(350) was very bad smell, probably from the bed.

Too quiet, need action

We super enjoyed our stay. The pool and beach are great . The dining options were awesome. The cleanliness and service were super. The TV remote control could do with an upgrade since its not very responsive and a little of a process to navigate channles but it did not take away anything away from our enjoyment and overall we had a great time. Amazing stay with beautiful scenery and great food, everyone that works there are always helpful and welcoming.

The hotel looks clean at first, and I was offered a welcome drink on arrival, but the service ruined it. The front desk rushed guests, spoke down to them, and claimed I was “upgraded” when I was given the same room I booked. The room and restroom were clean, but the TV didn’t work, and the bed was harder than a rock — maybe fine for some, but not for me. The buffet was one of the worst I’ve experienced. The food had no flavor, and the staff were more interested in chatting with certain foreign guests than helping. If you order alcohol, it comes right away, but if you ask for a Coke or Sprite, be ready to wait 15–20 minutes. The shops inside the hotel are no better than outside vendors, constantly hounding you. After three days, the front desk continued to be a disaster, with no communication between staff. You end up repeating yourself over and over to get the simplest things done. The only bright spot was Ahmed from housekeeping — professional, helpful, and the kind of staff member this hotel desperately needs more of. Overall, this was a huge disappointment. Clean rooms don’t make up for terrible service, tasteless food, and staff that simply don’t care. Definitely not the 5-star experience promised.

Very friendly staff, beutiful property

I like the room and the staff service all over and not like the all inclusive food in all restaurants same all the week no different at all same like open buffet and you pay for the food extra special. Not normall in another 5 or 4 star hotel

Amazing service

Service from the front desk; egg station and Pool Bar was exceptional. Food was very good. The rooms are a very clean… but in need of a modern update.

Very courteous staff throughout. Extremely clean. Very good restaurants with lent food options as well as the pool bar and cafe. The beach was clean and enjoyable. Best place to vacation at.

The experience was great, the structure of the hotel is good and there’s plenty options of activities and entertainment, and the entertainment team is super nice, particularly Kito, Julia and Oscar. The food was good, everything was always clean and the staff is very helpful in general. I’ve had a a few situations with the staff at the beach bar where I would order something and they would make fun of me (like repeating what I said in a feminine voice, for example), or clearly talking about me in their language. Also, by the beach, you get chased every day, many times a day, by the people selling tours and sea activities, which is super annoying. I didn’t have a good experience with the scuba dive as well, they are very unprofessional and unprepared to deal and respect people, especially women. I wouldn’t recommend doing it if it’s your first time, cause it can be scary and, in my case, traumatising. I understand it’s a different company, but as it is within the hotel premises, they should try improving the customer service for a better experience. Overall experience was good, if we didn’t have to deal with this other situations it would have been excellent.

The service of the hotel has significantly improved since my last visit two years ago. It has become even better while I liked it from the first time.

The Baron Palms Resort, seems to be the upper market neighbor to the Baron Resort next door, and for good reason. The property is, like many others, a 20 minute free shuttle ride into Namma Bay, but a short taxi trip to the airport. The property is beautifully manicured, swimming pools are immaculate and large, the staff are top tier and the food at the hotel restaurants is mostly buffet and mediocre, but as good as any other high-end resorts in the area. Everything was available and worked well in our room, and the wifi was strong, fast and stable. The resort appears to be a favorite for Russians and Kazakhs but the staff all speak English as well as some Russian. A tip: ask for a discount for the transport to the airport, a hedge against the exorbitant cost of the hotel taxi service. You will pay a reasonable price. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

I would like to thank Mr. Arafat Mahmoud, Mohamed Elhlawany and the entire staff for their hospitality and great work that they do to make your stay at the resort exceptional. Everybody went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. the food was great! We definitely recommend this resort for a fantastic vacation!
