Great clean building/ rooms, comfortable and everything needed in a room. TV is not good. I guess the options in Northern Alberta are limited as the hotel next door has the same crappy old standard def. Watching the hockey game felt like I was watching 30 years ago.

Lots of parking spaces, even for larger vehicles, like transportation trucks.

I stayed 2 nights at the end of March and was put in a ground floor room with an outside entrance. The room look worn and tired. Mold/mildew in the corners of the showers. The kind of room you don’t really want to take your shoes off in. Felt more like a motel at a hotel price. Will stay at the Ramada across the parking lot for a little more money next time. At least they have some standards.

Best location in Lac La Biche. Close to downtown and all main roadways leading into and out of the community. Staff and management are amazing and the hospitality, food and comfort it icing on the cake. See you soon #CanaltaLLB

Spent 5 nights at the Canalta in La La Biche in February 2026. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was large and clean. The breakfast room was excellent and we ate there each day and were very happy with the selection and quality of food. Used the work out room and hot tub - steam room was out of use unfortunately. We needed to be in town to go back and forth from the hospital for a practicum posting and found the location and amenities excellent for our trip and needs.

Dirty room

Room was spotless, staff very inviting. Breakfast was hot, delicious and well stocked with lots of variety. Unfortunately the hot tub was down for maintenance- very disappointing that this information isn’t known when booking on-line.

It was all good. Food, staff, accommodations all good. Bed was very comfortable.
