Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid.

Quirky hotel with all different shaped rooms in different converted buildings. Very good room size. V.G. Bathroom. Excellent breakfast.Friendly English speaking staff.

We stayed one night at this nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice, it seemed everybody spoke english. The room was clean and comfortable, not terribly luxurious but overall a good value for the money. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.

This place was great to stay in though the pillows and bed were slightly flat and hard, we both woke up a little sore. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious but we were both turned off quite a bit by the fruit fly population in the flowers on the tables, they made eating difficult because we were constantly swatting at them. The service was wonderful and the location was beautiful. Nice shower and clean room/sheets/bathroom. Overall we would stay here again but we’d bring our own pillows and eat somewhere else.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience -- unfortunately the pictures in no way matched the rooms we were placed in. The guest house and our rooms were dated with an unpleasant smell. Moreover, the wifi was not working (due to an earlier storm apparently), despite this being an advertised amenity. The location is great, but in such a beautiful area with plentiful inns, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

This is a pleasant hotel in a historic building in a nice location. We stayed in a room in the "guest house" building, which was spacious and had a balcony. Dinner was excellent. Overall, recommendable.

Second stay here and will definitely return again. Food delicious and excellent choice complete with an English menu. Staff very welcoming and friendly and room very spacious and clean.

The front desk staff said they would get back with answers to my questions, but I never saw them again. They said they would lock the garage my (very) expensive bicycle was in. However, I woke up early to ride and it wasn't locked. The evening waiter seemed like he couldn't care less. Basically, the staff was nice enough, I feel like it was off season and they just weren't paying much attention. Nice room and nice town, though.

very good buffet breakfast but was moved around all the time, i was refused table in restaurant for breakfast yet resturant of over 100 covers was empty, was told i had to go to other room 30m away !!! was told could not use table as was used by other guest night before, seems ok for some guest but not all, seems did not mater i had been move, i did not like the attitude of the staff and think they did not want to clear table for later guest Breakfast from 7am but check out not until 8am, i had plane to catch !!! food was fine i could not believe the standard of the fire alarm system installation looked more like Egypt or India, not what one expects in Germany

Schön gelegenes Hotel, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer können eine Modernisierung vertragen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, aber in manchen Punkten ist durchaus Verbesserungspotential vorhanden. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, das ich als Gast entscheiden kann, ob ich eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung haben möchte oder nicht! In anderen Hotels bekomme ich es als „Service an der Umwelt“ verkauft, wenn ich diese Leistung extra in Anspruch nehmen möchte…im Deutschherrenhof geht man den richtigen Weg und der Gast darf entscheiden, ob er eine mit dem Zimmerpreis bezahlte Leistung haben möchte.
