I booked this room just after midnight because my daughter was sick and there was too much noise at my friend's where we were staying. I did not realize because it was after midnight that it would put check-in as 4 pm. I contacted both Expedia and went to the hotel. Neither Expedia or the hotel were able to switch the night. The hotel was mostly vacant and it should not have been an issue. It was a waste of money and time dragging my sick daughter there. Terrible customer service. The front desk told me he had to clear it with a manager but that would not be until 9am. Then, the manager would not refund the following day when Expedia tried to ask them for flexibility. The app is not set up for a situation like this and the hotel was completely inflexible, even though they were close to empty
