Rooms were spacious and well maintained, clean and tidy. Breakfast was pleasant and adequate

This was an overall nice hotel. The inside is a little maze like on a long winding path that involved going up stairs then down stairs and such but the room itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. I will say, we didn’t know before hand but apparently Kilkenny is a party town on weekends with lots of large groups going from pub to pub and it was loud outside until 3 or 4 am. Not something the hotel has any control over, obviously, but something to keep in mind if you’ll be staying here over a weekend.

Lovely quirky Irish style Hotel with loads of character and helpful staff. Several different areas with bar facilities and large dining room, menu had plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Plenty of off street car parking at rear of Hotel which was most helpful, also within close walking proximity for public transport if needed. Central location to be able to walk the medieval city and enjoy all that Kilkenny has to offer. Would have no hesitation in staying there again

Good central location, rooms bit dated but clean. Disappointed my mukka wasn’t allowed in with two birds on his arm at 2am so he could have a wrestle about with one of them, left a sour taste

Cosy, warm but cooled myself with a cool beer

The room was really clean and so big! There was even an ironing board. It is an old building but for us it was okay! Close to everything and beautiful view from the room.

Breakfast and brwakfast room were outstanding. Very nice room and pleasant staff . Rooms need some upgrading. Dowdy indoor outdoor car Pipes were so loud when flushing the toilet.

We stayed one night at this hotel. There is a good breakfast in the morning and ample parking for free at the back of the property. While the room was clean, it could use some upgrades. The shower was so cramped, had no hot water and the flimsy curtain sticks to you. We also experienced power issues with the hair dryer (which is bolted to the wall in the main room) working one minute, then stopping, TV and lights turned off and then back on. Room was hot, but they provided a stand up fan. No irons, fridges or any additional amenities in the room except basic coffee/tea. Given the price, not what we were expecting. Location is good though, lots of places to eat nearby and very safe and walkable.

Very nice location, very nice and spacious room! Great bars/restaurants in the buildings. Great food! Everything within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Quaint hotel. They have a small and limited parking lot and it can be difficult to get your car parked in one of the spots.

Great place. Lovely breakfast.

The building is a little old and hard to navigate to your room, unless you are close to the elevator. With any booking you you make in the UK, always book the breakfast of you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook and pay for it. Staff were nice and parking onsite made it very easy to park and enjoy the town.

Room were older but clean. Loved that there was parking in the back. Had a great Roasr dinner at the restaurant. Loved that we could walk to the castle and around the town. Wish we were able to stay longer in Kilkenny.

Location of the hotels in a good spot, the staff was helpful. Unfortunately, we visited during a heat wave and no one opened the windows to try to cool off the room. Our room was on the top floor and very very hot. The hotel is older and could use some updating. however, parking was ample

The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a nice location for walking around town. They have onsite parking behind the hotel which is a major bonus.
