The stay was very comfortable. Food is really good. However, in some cases, it looks loke the hotel is making money out of evrything

Good location, however not close to a five star hotel! Tired building that needs attention on the exterior, and extremely limited evening menu!

The hotel rooms would need a fix especially on the bathroom fixtures, the shower systems should be replaced , at least in the room I stay!

hotel was very run down. for example our shower head didn't work and we had to use the shower wand exclusively. clearly broken for a long time. power outlets didn't work. lamps in our room were missing lightbulbs completely.

I drove here after going to a wedding in Slovakia and driving from London and I stayed in some bad hotels en route. Consequently I needed some 'spa time' for three days to recover after a hard journey. The Hotel Azur Premium package provided. The different five-course (FREE) meal every night was delicious and swimming/relaxing in both Lake Balaton and the spa itself was sublime. Like Lake Como, somewhat cheaper, but still an extraordinarily chilled experience

Nice experience, though Covid compliance with buffet breakfast was not perfect

excellent dinner and breakfast, huge terrace in the room, little bit noisy because windows were on the swimming pool, too much people in the wellness

The rooms are big and nice with a huge balcony and this is the only good part of this hotel. The la carte dinner was awful and tasteless, you can get coffee after 9:30 PM or any non alcoholic drink, so I went to the room and dialed the room service which clearly stated in the menu that they are open until midnight .. they hung up on me 3 times and the 4th time they told me they’re closed. The hotel turns off the light and shuts everything down outside, so if you think you can chill outside or besides the lake it won’t happen. I also have to mention that there are bugs of all types everywhere, the staff said they can’t do anything about it. I complained and they changed my room and offered a free lunch the next day. The new room smelled like rotten rats .. guess why? There was a plate of rotten fruits in the middle of it. I took the free lunch and ordered a veggie burger, it was saltier than sea water. The staff are nice, they are trying but it’s obvious they have no experience what so ever. I hated this place so much and I feel like I wasted money and time just to get triggered and bitten by all sorts of bugs. I don’t know how is this hotel a 5 star!

Fantastic hotel and room. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed but the indoor facilities were still great. Lovely 5 course evening meal, the breakfast buffet was not quite at the same standard.

Stayed just one night. Great room overlooking the lake. Sweeping view from large ceiling-floor windows. Lovely. Dinner (included) was fixed menu 5- course. Nicely done and pleasant ambience.

Some of the hotel facilities were good - has its own beach and a few pools. The room was okay, but small and had a large gash in the wall from an adjoining door opening into it. It had obviously been there for a while but no-one has bothered to fix it (apart from put masking tape over that had itself been broken through - classy). If you do not like kids, this is not the place for you. There were a lot of them. The place puts on excellent activities for them though so they were not a bother for us. Hardly any of the staff spoke English. This was a problem when power was cut to our room when a bulb blew. It took three phone calls over an hour to finally find someone who spoke English who could get someone out to fix it - frustrating at the time. If you are English make sure you get staff contacts who speak it when you check in. Or go somewhere else where they do have good English speakers. Overall though the location and facilities were good.
