The stay at Austrian Gardens, for the price, was a truly pleasant stay. The service staff were friendly and prompt with their service, and even handled the troubles (e.g. multiple blackouts, wifi breakdown) effectively. The areas were well-maintained with daily housekeeping. Honestly, the place was calming and relaxing after a day's out. Location is also very walkable distance to Patong Beach, the shopping malls (20 mins walk) and accessible by transport. Just an area of improvement would be the shower facility. The water pressure can be a little too soft (like there's minimal water) and the temperature can vary. Thank you for making our stay memorable

Great place, beautiful garden and pool

The Austrian Garden is a true hidden gem. It's tucked away in a garden oasis, yet only a three minute walk to Patong beach. The restaurant has an extensive German menu, & Robert's team makes every post a winner. The hotel itself was spotless, and Thomas' staff just couldn't do enough to help. If you're interested in a well priced hotel with the best pool imaginable, ice cold beer, and great food, this one's for you.

The room had no telephone to the front desk. I had room 118, it was large but sparse. I believe I was the only person in building one, the other people, ( who spoke German) were in building two and three. All in all I was happy, went on a fishing tour and enjoyed Paton.

Our stay was comfortable and easy access to the beach (5-min walk) accommodations were clean, service was good, breakfast was good with plenty of black coffee. Pool looked inviting (rain days) but do not have opportunity to use. Upon arrival the staff was pleasant and very warm welcoming us with free cold drink(beer). Departure at desk was not attentive and barely said thank you and did not offer assistance with taxi/ transportation.

On arrival check-in was quick and efficient despite us arriving close to midnight. The property has large rooms and there is very little noise at night and yet it was still located close to all amenities. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast is good and served in a nice setting. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel (we stayed 17 nights).

Property was well kept. Staff were great. Very helpful and able to communicate well. I liked that it was not really child friendly. I prefer my holidays to be with adults.

They really need to rethink their key holding system. Put my key in the key box on the way out, as is the resort requirement. Returned early the next morning and my key was missing. Took half an hr to find front desk staff. Finally found someone. They went to my room and a local had taken my key and decided to take a nap in my room! All my stuff was still there. I asked for a room change and they said they were fully booked. Finally after about 2hrs I was able to get back into my room. They did change the linen. Went down the next morning to tell the duty manager, front desk staff said come down at 9pm. Ridiculous! The whole experience really made me uncomfortable. I will not be back!

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We arrived hot and tired prior to check in time and they greeted us with a complimentary drink of our choice and made our room available as a priority. The staff was friendly and professional but not in your face. A lovely balance! It was a very comfortable place to be in in every respect. The location was perfect for us being an easy 3-4 minute walk to Patong Beach and at the same time away from traffic and city noise. There were also plenty of eateries nearby.

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Whilst I was checking in, I was sat down in the lounge and given a welcome drink. Then my bags were carried to my room for me. Th room was very spacious and the bed had crisp white sheets. The bathroom is also huge though the water pressure on the shower was only adequate. The pool area is wonderful. Let's start with very nice and friendly staff , I meet the owners also and they were helpful, and wanted me to have a good stay .... The location is a few minutes walk from the beach , which is good , there is a nice pool , tasty breakfast, good laundry service AND many easy to walk too restaurants .....I would stay here again for SURE !!
