Room was great

Stayed at Bucket Tree Lodge in Wellington recently. The room was tidy and comfortable, but cleanliness was just above average. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I liked that it had a kitchen setup. The only downside was the noise from the nearby railway tracks, which can be a bit distracting at night. Overall, it’s a convenient and welcoming spot, especially if you’re travelling or need a short-term stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Property is next to a railway line but units are well soundproofed plus not many trains come by. Area otherwise nice and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unit well and modern furnished.
