Nice place to stay

Some extras were very nice. The muffins on arrival was a nice touch

Very helpful staff, lovely room, cosy, comfortable bed, good amenities. A bonus free blueberry cupcake when we arrived went down well with a fresh brewed coffee

As always the Ambassador offered a restful, convenient place for this traveller. I have stayed there a number of times before and would recommend it. The complementary muffin on arrival is a lovely touch!

We spent one night here so we could go see the Little Penguin colony. We enjoyed our stay. The staff delivered our breakfast the evening before and left it in our refrigerator while we were out. I unintentionally left something of value in the room when we left Oamaru and didn’t realize it until we arrived at our next destination. The cleaning staff found it and took it to the main office. When I called about it, the manager arranged to send it to a hotel which was a destination later in our trip. This gives me a lot of confidence in the staff and management of this hotel. I really appreciated the honesty and willingness to go the extra mile for me. FIVE STARS!!
