The hotel’s location is excellent—close to tourist attractions and conveniently situated around the city. The staff were very helpful. We arrived at 11 AM, and by 1 PM they informed us that our room was ready, allowing us to check in early. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and everything was delicious.

When the car park is full, immediately rush for free valet parking.

The hotel staff was very friendly in helping me call a body massage therapist when I was sick, and the lemongrass ginger water drink was delicious, a drink when I was sick at the hotel.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't comfortable, as people could hear walking in the hallway. The staff was friendly, and they gave me a coffee voucher.

A pleasant experience staying with my family twice. I also received a surprise birthday cake. Thank you, The Alana. God willing, on my next trip to Yogyakarta with my family, we will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, strategic, very friendly service

The service is okay... if possible, the towel hanger in the bathroom could be made bigger, so it would be easier to hang them... hehee

Had a wonderful stay at The Alana Hotel Malioboro Yogya. The staff were so friendly I felt like a VIP guest the whole time. The room was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices (I may or may not have gone back for “just one more round”). Location is perfect—close to Malioboro but still peaceful. Definitely coming back!
