The staff is very hospitible and the included breakfast will provide plenty fuel you for your adventures. Located one street back from the lake close to the areas top Chinese restaurants and a street back from some of the more luxurious hotels in the area. I stayed in a room with a large bed and two large windows with a good view of the Peace Pagoda to the south and Sarangkot to the North West. Even better view from the rooftop. Bathroom was spacious with good hot water (solar). Cons: Difficulty accounting for payments done through expedia was awkward. Stray dogs attracted to the meat from the Chinese restaurants barked from 1-3am multiple nights. Wifi router to room was inconsistent as was electricity. (The electricity is a town wide problem). As consolation the internet in the lobby always works. All things considered it’s a good choice. Quality room with a great breakfast run by friendly people.

Manager at the front desk was very attentive and professional, as were the staff that showed me to my room, made sure I had wifi, and served breakfast in the dining room.

I lived in this hotel with my wife for one night. I booked the deluxe room through Expedia which costs. When I checked in they gave me standard room which is small and dirty. Then I informed the manager in the front dest (probably the younger brother of the owner) that I did not like the room. I also added, in your hotel I booked the deluxe room and was expecting much better room. Then he checked my booking confirmation and changed my room from standard to deluxe and asked for a good review for that. Their deluxe room is not better than the standard one but the size. I had to ask for water bottle and coffee. Then my wife went for shower and she waited 15 minutes opening the tap for hot water, but no hot water. Then she came out of the shower and asked me to call the reception. But I found the phone is dead. I walked downstairs and informed the reception that there is no hot water and the phone is dead. The manager informed me he will turn on hot water and need to wait for one hour. He also said he will come to fix the phone but he never came. So, we went for dinner instead of shower. Later we found there was no remote control of air conditioner. I walked downstairs again and brought a broken remote control they have. We found the air conditioner is dead too. Their internet speed was below 1mbps for so many users and I could not log in to Gmail or Facebook. Their blanket was so cheap and thin. There was an ordinary breakfast in the morning where I found their knife was bent.
