The room is really lacking, old building, rent 2 rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, the 3rd floor is really bad on the floor of the room, there is not even a vinyl room directly on the ceramic (unlike on the 2nd floor), on the 2nd floor it is a bit okay but not great either, the cupboard and table are rotten and not repaired, the toilet water is noisy and the sound from the toilet cannot be turned off, the sound from the next room can also be heard in the room, the toilet is dirty, the mattress is dirty, the bed cover is not good

the hotel have the old rooms and new renovated rooms. I booked them knowingly I will be getting the old room. the room in 3rd floor was near the housekeeping area, and time to time there will be a humming machine noise (sounds like spinning washing machine?) the bidet was leaking water during few last days some part of the room is quite dusty but actually overall , for the price, acceptable. maybe the experience will be different if I am in the renovated area. the staffs are kind, and my impression for the hotel will be more for the restaurant. they serve sarawakian food and some of them are fairly priced for day to day. I got sick during this trip and remain staying in room and getting room service daily most of the time, it's convenient.

I like staying here. Old hotel, but still OK. Spacious room, clean, and very calm place. The breakfast, not a buffet, but they give two options: Asian & western menu. I try both. Especially Laksa Sarawak. Superb!
