Very different experience staying in ex monastery some nuns still there 😃 no talking at breakfast to respect the history very convenient to downtown bus train station would stay here a again shared bathroom in older section but very clean

Loved it! Would make a trip back to Quebec City specifically to stay there.

Beautiful well kept property that is calm and peaceful in the heart of Old Quebec. The building is historic and has been masterfully modernized. The food is excellent. We will be back.

Be careful when booking; you may get a room with a shared bathroom. What kind of a hotel that has rooms without bathroom, No TVs, or Fridge in the room. Even though i needed a room for about 6hrs to crash and leave in the morning, i was tricked in and charged extra $70, so i can get a room with a bathroom. I insisted to the frontend staff i do not need an upgrade, and just give me a room, but still they managed to charge extra $70 on top of the $170 room that i paid which didnt have a bathroom, tv or fridge.

Convenient location, wonderful staff, beautiful historic and educational surroundings. Stay in a museum and soak in the history of the nuns! Loved it. Impeccable !

Pros: Awesome location for seeing everything. Super quite and great bed. Very clean. Cons: Many guests arrive to find out they get a shared bathroom down the hall. Room size is less than 15 sq meter. Four steps from door and U hit the wall. No TV, Frige, or etc. But WiFi is great Breakfast is vegitarian.

A wonderful change from a typical hotel that is often full of noise and craziness. This was calm and relaxing (no televisions but they do have wifi). Nice breakfasts. The museum of the Augustine Sisters was beautiful and educating. What a remarkable story. Nice location.

Immaculate, quiet, peaceful. Within 5 minute walking distance to old Quebec.

I really enjoyed my stay at Monastery Augustine’s. I had a contemporary room with a private bathroom. The room was a nice size. The breakfasts were good. The food was fresh and well made. The food at dinner was good also. They both were buffet style with lots os choices. Take the tour of the hotel and learn the history. It is interesting with the artifacts throughout the hotel.

Stellar understated experience. Will be back.

The place gives you a sense of calm and peace the moment you enter. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The daily breakfast has plenty of choices and everything tasted great.

Been already 3 times at the Monastery and every time it was an amazing stay! More than a hotel, it is an experience you can't miss. A quiet place full of history in every corner. Breakfast is always included and offers amazing homemade food, woth plenty of vegan options. Highly recommend!
