El bar podría mejorar mucho, sus bebidas no son tan buenas. La alberca necesita mantenimiento. En las habitaciones, hay varios problemas como el aire acondicionado hace muchísimo ruido. Tuve un problema con la televisión en mi habitación y solucionaron cambiándome a un cuarto diferente con un upgrade y eso se agradece mucho. Pero sí le hace falta mantenimiento al lugar.

Great spot. Not much space around the pool, but the staff more than made up for it.

The hotel has a cool industrial feel while also being comfortable and clean. The open air courtyard in the middle was a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle on the streets. Room was just what we needed and a comfy bed. The location was great, close to all the action of Norte and Condessa but also a nice little neighbourhood . If you like to walk ( I do) you walk comfortably from Carlota easily. A great little coffee shop 3 blocks away called Voltage was a little gem in the area. Staff was all very nice and helpful.

Hotel Carlota was the perfect location for our first visit to CDMX and was central to most of our itinerary. The rooms are clean and as pictured–I would recommend bringing thick and comfy slippers as the floors in the room are cement. Since we were out for most of the day, we only really needed a place to sleep so the rooms worked just fine for our travel needs. I really appreciated how helpful the staff was, especially Fernando who we interacted with most days. The pool isn't deep or too big so you have to be mindful of how many people are there, but overall, the pool area is a nice place to decompress. My only regret was not taking advantage of their bike rentals.

It’s okay but not worth the price. The building is old and so it has water/plumbing issues and you can tell it’s just been cheaply renovated. You should know that the elevator is not automatic so it needs to be run by someone. The only time someone took me up was arrival. Other than that no matter how many times I rang, no one would come. There’s some construction going on during the day -not sure when that will end.

Nice room but not huge, bathroom slightly outdated. But the property was lovely- pool area very nice. Relaxing place to read in the afternoon. Staff was amazing- so nice and friendly and always willing to help. Great location.

rooms are small and dark, and you can hear your neighbors. its well designed archetcually tho, and nice to look at. restaurant there is great, just hotel is disapointing.

Location and proximity to major retailers. Drinks were delicious too!!

Friendly staff, good location, but hotel has prioritised aesthetics over practicality. The hotel is very noisy — they play loud music all day and well into the night which makes it hard to relax in your room. The rooms are also very dark as they have small windows which overlook the walk ways. Then there’s a bunch of little things that make the rooms impractical — they give you robes but no where to hang the robes when wet, the only light by the sink is overhead so you have shadows on your face for shaving, etc. Finally the whole hotel could do with some maintenance — shower heads that are caked in limescale, lots of missing tiles in the swimming pool, lights that don’t work properly in the rooms.

The room wasn’t cleaned throughly during the time we were there the amenities aren’t that convenient because they have inconsistent hours. The staff was nice but they were hard to reach on more than one occasion. Not exactly family friendly in my opinion or experience feels like the bathroom sink being on the outside of the bathroom it self is a bit unsanitary and sink was not properly cleaned. Door should have a proper lock it didn’t lock so feels unsafe.

We were only there for about 10 hours bc we were late getting in. My 6 yo was asleep, and they were incredibly kind helping get us parked and our things carried to our room so I didn’t have to wake her. The bed was very comfy too and the room was super dark, which made for a great night sleep. When it was raining the next AM, they pulled the car around for us too so we didn’t have to walk through the rain with our things to get it.

Very cute property 1/2 block from reforma, very very walkable. The restaurant/bar staff is super nice and friendly (Gabrien and Jazmin in particular) Very clean rooms and areas in general.

Overall, great stay. Had an issue with my key card and the staff were very helpful in getting the issue fixed for me. Wish the bathroom was a little cleaner but it wasn’t too bad. Area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Again the staff were so kind and helpful my entire stay.
