Ok place to stay. Bit of a distance from center of town and places to eat etc. Rooms and facilities could do with a refresh but generally ok.

Had cockroaches, lizards, spiders, etc in the room

Enjoyed our stay at Fresco Water Villa. Special mention of Chaturanga in the front office, for making it memorable. He was very helpful and made travel arrangements locally, although it was out of his description. Thanks Chaturanga.

After a long time travelling Hotel Topaz was a delight to visit. Lovely staff and beautiful room.

The service was good and for the price it is worth.Food was good but need to have a variety specially breakfast.

Very nice hotel, beautiful swimming pool, nice and clean rooms and bathroom and nice breakfast. Only cons are wifi only reachable in reception area and dinner not so good (but there is a great kothu restaurant next door). The guys at the restaurant are extremely friendly, specially Janith, Achille and Lavishan (probably misspelt them all). 10 minutes away from Sigiriya on tuk tuk.

Small details would make it even better, room was huge and nicly situated. I would recomend to friend. I would offer wider selection during breakfast.

We stayed only for a night and everything was fine. The only issue we had was the location; on Expedia map it was shown almost at the entrance of sigiriya however in google maps it was 10 mins drive away which happened to be correct. We hired a tuktuk and worked out fine.

Impressive rooms! Large and comfortable! I was particularly impressed with the remote setup for the lighting and room devices. Bad news though, cold water during the stay. Was hot for 2 minutes and then cold showers after. This should be an easy fix given how much they invest in the luxury of each room. Also wifi was only available in the lobby. That's a large blow. You can't expect people to want to leave their rooms for the wifi, especially when there are mosquitos outside. Still a good value, but they need to fix some things.

周りに何もないので、食事をつけたほうがいいです。味付けや盛り付けはヘリタンスカンダラマより良かったです。値段なりに品数は質素ですが、、、。グーグルやホテルの地図が間違ってる場合があります。ジギリアロックから2キロくらいは離れてますので要注意。プール隣にある発電機の音がうるさかったけど、部屋に入れば聞こえません。

I chose to stay in this hotel for one reason - it was in the centre of town. Atleast according to the map in hotels.com. However, it is located outside of Sigiriya approx. 2 km away along a dodgy road, that is not pleasant to walk along after dark. Hard to catch a rickshaw from here. Not staying in town (as expected) really ruined my stay. On top of this, the hotel is overpriced. Service nice, but not excellent. Do not arrange daytours from here, as they charge almost double the price compared to tours in Sigiriya. The pool was okay. Room comfy.

Een goede accomodatie met prima voorzieningen. Een buffetdiner en een goed uitgangspunt om de volgende ochtend de “Leeuwenrots” te beklimmen. Het entree bord is ‘s avonds niet verlicht en de lokatie klopte niet helemaal volgens Google maps.

WiFiが客室で使えないのでいちいちフロント周辺に行かなくてはならないのだが、フロントが屋外にあるので暑かった。 中庭にプールがあり、子供の嬌声がうるさかったので、それもマイナス。 が、他の点では問題はなく、リゾートらしい雰囲気が楽しめたので概ね満足。

staff is really nice. breakfast is good. hotel is beautiful. room is big and clean. hotel have free accommodation for driver. near Sigiriya.

シャワーの排水溝の流れの悪いこと。せっかくシャワーを浴びても足をもう一度洗わないと気持ち悪いと言う… レストランで食事をしたが、 クリスマスイブだった為か恐らく普段より高い料金で、しかも種類も味も良くなかった。朝も同じ所で食べるのが嫌になったくらい。

Het hotel zag er goed uit en de kamers prima, alleen wel erg gehorig. Bij het zwembad moest je lang wachten op een handdoek, het eten was slecht en weinig inspirerend, in andere steden of hotels was de kwaliteit veel hoger. Het is meer een doorvoerhaven van georganiseerde reizen en zo gaat het personeel ook met je om.

We stayed one night only at FWV and we recommand it for sure. First the staff was great: helpful and friendly! Second the Hotel is well located: 5 minutes to go to the Lion's Rock with a tuktuk. And We caught a bus to Dambulla right in front of the main entrance. Last but not least: what a pleasure to enjoy the pool by 37 degrees outside! Thanks for this stay

Bad service, very dirty rooms and and the meals were not very good compared to the other places we went. Sigiryia offers beter places the place we stayed at 2 years ago were a lot better.

Parfait pour visiter la ville de Sigiriya : a 10 minutes en tuk tuk de Sigiriya Rock et a 30 minutes de l'eco park pour un safari. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine jusqu'à 21h30 parfait en revenant d'une grosse journée pour se rafraîchir !
