The hotel was great but the parking was supposed to be free. We paid 7.50 euros for one night. Apparently free parking is to the side of the hotel but we were not told this on arrival and parked in the area marked as the hotel car park. On checking out we were advised we had to pay. Our booking included free parking so we were upset by this. We should have been advised on check in which bays were free and which were not. All parking is outside so not easy to work out.

Great hotel, everything was good, from the initial welcome to saying goodbye. Be aware that using the hotel car-park has a fee and I wasn't told that on arrival, but that's no big issue. The town is quite isolated, there are a couple of other bars and restaurants, and the ones in the hotel are good, but if you need a taxi be wary of the cost. No air-conditioning and when I was there it was very hot, but there was a fan in the room which worked well. All-in-all I would recommend and would certainly stay there again.

Staff was really helpful. However in the morning, they started renovations in nearby rooms. Restaurant is something to check, food was delicious.

Our room needed air conditioning as the fan supplied in the room was not strong enough. It caused a lot of discomfort at nighttime.

The hotel was essentially in the suburbs of Chemnitz. The complex was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The complex is built like dorms which would serve its purpose very well for a lot of different types of customers, especially since the individual buildings are connected together underground. The layout is not as beneficial for the one night tourist stay. Staff was very professional, the reviews accurate.

There appeared to be a minimum of three Reception staff on duty at quiet periods but only one member of Reception staff on duty at peak times, i.e. early mornings.

An incredible architecture for a hotel. Respect for the site. Great service. New experience of hotel stay. Walking distance to an incredible historic site, a castle with museum, gardens and great restaurants. Will always remember.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit einer ruhigen Lage.

Beim Frühstück (für 19 Euro) war die Milch leer und der Nutella Ersatz. Außerdem Brötchen nicht wirklich alle frisch. Nicht zu empfehlen für diesen Preis.

Wieder mal ein perfekter Aufenthalt

Zimmer war okay, aber kalt. Nachts wird die Heizung angestellt und unser checkin war abends. Daher musste ich notgedrungen mit dem Fön aus dem Badezimmer heizen.

Alles perfekt, sehr schöner Ort für Ruhesuchende.

Die Lage war toll und das Frühstücksbüffet auch. Leider hatten wir Pech mit einer kaputten Tür unseres Hauses, deren Mechanismus in geschlossenem Zustand nervig war. Der Handwerker ließ wohl länger auf sich warten.

Der Service ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Obwohl wir deutlich vor der Check in Zeit dort waren, konnten wir unser Gepäck adäquat unterbringen. Und trotz geschlossener Gesellschaft konnten wir der Bar 4 Kaffee entlocken. Einzig die Tatsache, dass man sich ab 22:00 Uhr nicht mehr in der Lobby aufhalten konnte, war etwas schade. Stattdessen gab es Aufenthaltsräume in den Gästehäusern. Unsere hatte den Charme einer Jugendherberge und von 4 Stehleuchten bekamen wir gerade eine überredet, ihre Dienste zu tun. Ansonsten war alles in bester Ordnung.

Wir haben als Famile (zwei Erwachsene und ein neunjähriges Kind) eine Suite gebucht. Gegeben hat man uns erst ein normales Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Babybett. Nach der Reklamation meinte man an der Rezeption, dass von den zwei Suiten eine belegt ist und eine nicht gereinigt. Ergo haben wir ein anderes, normales Zimmer bekommen. Bis heute habe ich keinen einzigen Cent aufgrund der nicht verfügbaren, aber voll bezahlten Suite zurück bekommen. Im Übrigen fand ich, als ich die Rezeption für die Zimmer-Reklamation aufsuchte, meinen ausgefüllten Anmeldezettel immer noch auf dem Tresen liegen. Somit lag neben dem Reisemangel auch noch ein gravierendes Datenschutzproblem vor.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Früherer Check In nach Anfrage möglich. Sehr freundliches Personal. Alles unkompliziert und ohne Schwierigkeiten. Gutes Frühstück. Ruhige, saubere Zimmer. In direkter Lage zum Schloss Lichtenwalde. Vielen Dank

War alles wie es sein sollte

Es hat uns sehr gefallen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und frisch , Sonderwünsche wurden sofort erfüllt. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen
