A little lower than expected. Hospatility is great, but bathroom would need a bit more attention (ceiling falling, no cold water from the faucet) and room odor not great. Otherwise very comfortable, quiet and nicely located.

It was a quaint motel with delightful staff

Tom and James were amazing! Super informative and took the time to explain the location and things around, showed us to our rooms and made sure we knew where everything was within it. The room was cute and cozy (cute cabin vibes to me). Super comfortable bed and even a full on Keurig with different blends of coffee and real creamer in the fridge. A lot of options for table which was awesome! Parking spots assigned to each room and some coupons for local restaurant and cafe for breakfast. Me and my boyfriend went for a little three night birthday trip and they gave us a little gift on them, which was super appreciated and unexpected. Overall a great stay! We definitely would stay again, only thing is the bathroom could use some new sealing along the tub and tiles but that's about it. Beautiful lights and flowers out front that made the place welcoming. Highly recommend this gem! Thank you guys so much for the great experience!

Terrific stay, big room, all the amenities you need, nice fridge, coffee maker. Table for dining inside and out. Super close to the hot spring (pro tip- buy your tickets at the front desk) and tons of wildlife around the property. Couldn't ask for a better host than Tom. Close to restaurants/bars - all walkable under 10 mins. Will absolutely be visiting again and will carry my Gables key chain with pride!

Clean and quiet room... Tom at front desk was welcoming, friendly and helpful.. Close to restaurants and 1 km from hot springs.

The people at the front desk were nice and offered discounts to the hotsprings and a restaurant. Our assigned parking spot was being used by other people as a party area and the manager did not ask them to move and had to park by the road. When we entered the suite is smelt badly of smoke and the the carpet had stains all over it and there were several bugs that were scurrying around the floor. We arrived late and tried to make it work but could not imagine trying to sleep in this unit. We packed up our stuff and left at about 10:30 pm and drove home to Leduc AB ariving at 04:00 very tired and disappointed that our holiday ended this way. We would like our money back. Not sure how this works when booking through Expedia.

Tom checked me in and was wonderful. He gave me all the information around town with some recommendations. The property is cute and clean with a great little park across the the street.

Location and friendly staff

We aren’t fancy people, so we stay in motels over hotels a lot, and this was the best motel I’ve ever been to. I was expecting a basic Quality Inn type place with no amenities and semi-clean rooms, but this place is really above and beyond, so cute, the grounds are well kept and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this place. There were hanging lights and flowers all over the property, dedicated outdoor seating areas, games, and even a Keurig in the room. Tom was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I loved having a nearby park to walk the dog too! People who dislike this place or have negative comments should probably stay in a fancy hotel instead. For a motel, this is five stars all the way. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Everything about the room was clean and tidy however the entrance area to the second floor rooms needs tidying and refreshing.

We have stayed at Gables Motel many times, and it has become our favorite place to stay in the area. The property is always well maintained, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. We also enjoy the outdoor sitting area, BBQ facilities, and lawn games, which make it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The motel is peaceful and quiet, and on a couple of visits we were even lucky enough to see wildlife behind the property. We always enjoy our stay and will definitely be back again!

More hotels should have owners who care about there customers The owner Tom went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, took us to the room and showed us everything we needed to know room was very clean was a older hotel but very well taken care of

Love having a fridge with a freezer compartment as we had ice-packs we needed to refreeze. Got the Hot Springs tickets from them which saved us the cost of hiring a towel at the Hot Springs. For the price the amenities supplied was better than fancier hotels, shampoo plus conditioner, tea bags etc. I think small operator are so much better in terms of value. Many thanks to Gables Motel.

Had a great stay at Gables Motel. The owners are very polite and welcoming. Tom was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful, and we really loved the overall vibe of the place. The owners genuinely care about their guests and go out of their way to help. Highly recommend staying here!
