Very nice hotel with wonderful sea views.

Great hotel, professional staff, excellent facilities, fabulous breakfast and dinner options - self-serve, location, private beach fully set-up with sun lounges and beach umbrellas, in essence a great choice and great value for money.

Best Hotel were we stayed so far

Excellent location as it’s a five minute walk to the beach with super views; two fabulous pools. Hotel was incredibly clean and staff were always polite and ready to help. Amazing buffet breakfast every morning and wonderful entertainment every evening at the cocktail bar. Definitely value for money. Thank you!

Many things broken down in the room, bathroom…

Rooms smell and smaller than advertised. We did not receive the room we ordered. Bed covers had stains. Dinner buffet (part of the packet was not good).

Very impressed with the quality of the communal areas but our room was quite small.

Paying for parking I thought was a a bit much seeing we were guest at the hotel

Loved it, beautiful views, great position. We only had B and B but breakfast was 5 star. rooms were lovely and well equipped and all areas of the hotel were modern and clean. Only downside was the pool too small and crowded. Children’s pool below was hardly used as too shallow. This was a huge space and completely wasted in my opinion as the majority of children used the adult pool?

Brilliant hotel, excellent location, relaxing environment and excellent customer service offered by all staff we encountered.

We made last minute plans for a mini getaway from our Croatia summer vacation house. This was the best decision ever!

Much better than expected due to very low price. Beautiful coast, beach, sea and nice staff.

Good points: The hotel is in a great location. Close to bars and restaurants. Lovely spa Plenty of choice at breakfast Rooms basic but clean Lady who deals with tours in the hotel was excellent. She really went out of her way to get us a jeep tour as it was end of Season and we were limited on what we could do and see. Bad points: Restaurant staff could hardly raise a smile and they were very slow in clearing tables at breakfast The pool is nice but the sun beds don’t have any parasols so no real shade! The hotel has sun beds on the beach but YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM! 60 Kuna per person per day which is approx £7 (depending on your exchange rate) you do get a cocktail in with that but I think it’s still expensive if you don’t want a cocktail! Also if you want a parasol it is a further 35 Kuna!

The Medora Auri in Podgora is in a fantastic location! The hospitality team can help you with anything you need - excursions or renting a car - and I found that booking these things directly with the hotel was better value for money but equally fantastic service. Renting a car was super easy, the car was brought to the hotel and picked up from there also so no faffing or inconvenience. Also, excursions and trips were arranged brilliantly, picked up and dropped off at the hotel doors. The main town, Makarska is very close and easy to get to (10 minute taxi/bus ride but can also be reached with a nice stroll along the promenade) and has all the main links to boat trips to the islands, day trips to Krka National Park or Dubrovnik etc. Both Podgora and Makarska have wonderful communities that made my holiday fantastic. The restaurants and supermarkets were also great, plenty of choice and multiple options for children etc. Hotel food was great, buffet style with almost anything you could want. I was very impressed with the hotel’s consideration for guests with food allergies - such as myself. Everything is picture labelled clearly with allergens and they have a “gluten free corner” and also many options for dairy allergies etc. I had expected to do as I always do in holiday and take a guess and hope for the best but was very very pleased to have had the luxury of knowing what I could eat! Stunning beach also, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Bad mattress, bad hvac. People are rude

great hotel right on the beach. clean and spacious and did not feel too busy even during our visit in peak season. Staff really could not have done more to make our stay memorable especially Dragana so a special thanks to her! we will certainly be back!

Very chic interiors and design. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I cannot think of a single thing I would have changed! Would definitely recommend and would like to return!
