WONDERFUL ARTICULATE RESPONSIVE STAFF. PLEASANT OLD WORLD AMEITIES WITH A GREAT DEAL OF CLASS

The Ambassador has a prize location and is an excellent property. But it has a problem with its east-facing rooms which look out on a street with a nightclub. Which closes as 8am. There's noise all night. Patrons exit to smoke and shout right under the hotel. Reception staff admitted many guests have complained to no avail. In Geneva, of all places, the hotel management should raise it with the local authorities. Swiss rules exist to put a stop to this nuisance.

Wonderful hotel for short stays. They need to improve their breakfast offerings.

Fantastic location and excellent service! The staff were great and location was perfect. Limited parking available if you have a car so ensure you call ahead of time if you need a larger parking space.

The staff is very attentive. The location is central and close to all the major sites. Tourists qualify for the curly pass and can travel free on the public transportation. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay with nice breakfast & service. But, crazy shower arrangement that floods the bathroom floor & all counters etc each time you use it. The bathroom is small and has this raised super slippery bathtub .. scary. But by far the scariest is the check in & out. You can have your credit card PHOTOCOPIED or pay cash up front. Or basically risk having your card compromised or take a chance with SF750 CASH in your pocket on the way to the hotel. The solution seems simple Credit Card Hold! Could it be this option has not reached the banking capital of the world..?

The Ambassador is in a great location, easy walk to transit options including the train station, the old town, and the lake.

I would highly recommend The Ambassador to anyone staying in Geneva ! The location is superb .. right in the heart of the city facing the Rhône river. A million dollar view, for sure. The room was large, and perfect for 2. The service was top notch !! I can’t say enough about this excellent hotel !!

Staff was very accommodating during the check-in/out process. Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We love the hotel/staff/location. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The hotel is in a great location. Close by to the shopping area and main tram & bus routes. The hotel staff are always helpful and polite.

It’s in the heart of town. Getting in and out by car was challenging but we gave the keys to the hotel staff and walked everywhere during our 2 night stay.

Our room had amazing door/windows that opened up to the rushing Rhône River!
