The hotel was reasonably clean and the location was good. The man at reception tried to help when I needed assistance. The room had some useful features such as mirrors and hooks. However, there were several issues with my stay. The room was small, with no windows, no headboard and no bedside lights. The towels were very worn, and I found hairs in the bathroom that were not mine. One of my friends also found that their sheets were dirty. The room was very noisy. I could hear people using the toilet in the rooms above, and noise from the pipes throughout the night. This made it difficult to sleep. I was also disappointed that the booking information was not clear in English. One of the rooms had a shared bathroom and no windows, but this was not obvious when booking. Had this been made clear, I would have booked elsewhere. I also find the fact that they don’t have 24h reception impractical and they were not responsive over email, message and phone. I dread to think what would have happened if there had been an emergency. Overall, the location was good and the room was reasonably clean, but I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone especially to stay in the basement rooms.

The hotel was unique. The location was wonderful for visiting Gamla Stan and environs. The shower in my basement room did not drain properly. I hope they can do something about that. It I would stay there again, for sure.

The property location was perfect, very close to many attractions. Unfortunately the shower door in the bathroom would not shut properly so every time you went to shower water went all over the bathroom floor. The hairdryer broke as soon as we went to use it, however when mentioned to the hotel staff they were very quick to source a replacement. The lamp in the room also did not work and there was no bedside tables or tea or coffee facilities. However the beds were very comfortable.

Nice location right in the heart of Stockholm, staff was super helpful and it was very easy to get in and out.

Terrible smell. Can hear toilets flushing from other rooms. The smell remained on my clothes. Amazing front desk receptionist who did everything she could to accommodate, but nothing was available that did not stink. I do not recommend staying here during your time in Stockholm, and seek other more ventilated and modern options.

The room was extremely small, with a low, curved ceiling that made it difficult to stand comfortably. There was virtually no space to store our bags, so everything felt cluttered and in the way. The room didn’t have a private shower, so we had to use the communal facilities. Overall, it felt less like a hotel and more like a poorly maintained hostel. We ultimately booked another place for the rest of our stay. The only positive was its excellent, central location.

The room was fine for the price but the toilet was stinky and the WiFi didn’t work in my room. I tried both on my phone and laptop.

Expensive for what you get. Overall felt clean with good toilets/ showers. The pictures are pretty deceiving though. Pretty much an underground hostel with 2 toilets and 1 shower available for all guests. Good location

Comfy bed. Amazing location in old town. Fairly good price for location & city.

Good for the price. Great location. I liked door systems with codes, so no interaction with the reception was needed. However, there were no basic amenities except for soap. The rooms are compact, with limited storage space and minimal surfaces for belongings. Beds offer medium comfort. Heating works well in autumn, but in summer, street noise could be an issue due to the proximity to the road.

Room advertising was deceptive — details like lack of private bathrooms were cleverly hidden. The rooms were photographed to appear nicer and larger than they actually were in person. Cleanliness was bad and walls were thin.

Amazing historical hotel in the most beautiful location. Super easy to find and the staff were so sweet and beyond accommodating. We had a room with no windows but it was still the coolest stay we had on our whole trip! I highly recommend if you're into unique places to stay

Horrible experience. Got to the hotel, the code that they sent was wrong and couldn’t get into the room. I called the emergency number and tried for an hour, no one picked up. It was 11pm so we were stranded in Stockholm for the night as we couldn’t get another place as a walk-in. Don’t bother and book another place. They also never called back the next day to apologize or anything.
