I've always enjoyed staying a the Hacienda Tropical Guest House. The place is tidy, affordable, and friendly. Marta is a terrific host.

The staff, i forgot his name, was a wonderful host. The place itself smelled like mold, it was tiny and definitely not worth the price point. I would avoid it if it is possible

I liked it so much that I stayed another night. Best thing is the price and location and the staff: Marta and chris were excellent. I'll stay there again when I return.

Friendly staff: Chris is an open person, with whom it is nice to have a good conversation. The original room had no aironditioning although I had selected that option on Expedia. I had to pay a small fee to be upgraded to a room with AC. Apparently the expedia-selection options cannot distinguish rooms with or withour AC, I was told. Room was nice and clean, good and stable Wifi!

I liked this place. I never felt unsafe in this area. Bus stops just outside front gate. Lots of good inexpensive prepared foods available. The hosts were very friendly,helpful and they respected my privacy. Nice and quiet at night...

I stayed for 4 nights from check in to check out my experience was very good. The area is safe and walkable.
