Best part of this property has to be the staff. They were all amazing, nothing was too much trouble and very friendly. I wish more places had staff like these. Well worth the stay.

EV charging. This really would make a difference. Cowbridge Cow market charging is a joke. .

I have stayed at the Bear on several occasions and I always enjoy my visits. It's a wonderful place to relax, with comfortable rooms, good food and friendly and helpful staff.

The Bear is well located in the heart of Cowbridge with ample parking. The restuarant and bar were good (and very popular "conservatory" area at its heart (lunch and dinner were busy). Food options walkable nearby. Breakfast across road in Penny Farthings - very good. The room was small but gave good night's sleep, being quiet. Some minor issues with room (blinds, lights, washbasin design), but overall this was a very good stay. Have been before and will use again

We stayed for 1 night. Staff and hotel were excellent, the kids bed was a bit small and uncomfortable for a 10 year old but the overalll stay was great and food was lovely in the restaurant. We didn’t get to try breakfast unfortunately as we had to leave at 7.30am and breakfast didn’t start till 8am

We always enjoy staying at The Bear ,the staff are great ,the food and menu are good,it’s easy for going about in Cowbridge .

Clean and excellent value

we had a lovely stay, staff were amazing, lovely lady at reception welcomed us and was very helpful with information. There was a leak in the restaurant so had food in the lounge which was fine and service was excellent. room was just a little bit of a disappointment, bit tired looking but spotlessly clean and presented.

Lovely location and easy to get around. Great breakfast and staff friendly and pleasant.

We had a lovely room at The Bear. The staff were very helpful and parking right out the back was a true bonus!

Room 51 was charming and private. Very comfortable and I think the shower is the best shower I have ever had! Great water pressure and easy to control the temperature.

Overall a very good stay. The only comment was the windows in room 15 were in a poor state. Staff very helpful and engageing

Room comfortable, breakfast good although had to go outside of the hotel for breakfast.
