We loved hedge house. The hosts were fantastic. Our king room was lovely. The breakfast was outstanding. We would highly recommend hedge house.

Near to Newlands cricket ground, Shops and restaurants. Comfortable stay with helpful staff. Good place to stay to see the cricket.

Property was in a fantastic location and the hosts were wonderful. One minor item was the lack of availability of an honor bar or bottled waters in the in room mini fridge.

A warm welcome from Shirley who was most helpful even before we arrived. A great location in a quiet street and a short Uber into Newlands Village for restaurants and shops.There may be places to eat within walking distance but it happens we know Newlands Village well and so visited places we know. A great breakfast every day with fresh fruit salad that was really fresh. A major cricket series was on whil e we were at Hedge House and the cricket ground is very close so a real bonus for cricket fans. Great attention to detail in our room with fridge, microwave and crockery provided if you want to self-cater. Recommended with thanks to Shirley and her team.

This is such a gem. The service was personalized and simply outstanding. The property is absolutely lovely and the rooms and common areas comfortable and pretty. Also a delicious homemade breakfast.

Upstairs deck is spectacular. Lovely mountain view from the middle of a tree. All amenities in good taste, delicious snacks.

I had a great stay and the host was lovely. She provided a wonderful breakfast in a charming bed and breakfast. I highly recommend this place for your next trip to Cape Town!

Hedge House promised more than it delivered...the property was quirky, and I counted myself lucky to have been designated a ground floor bedroom as all upper floor rooms were only accessible via narrow metal external spiral stairs... The room was adequate...the bed large and very high...the two pillows lamentable giving no support, and my night's sleep was poor. The TV did not work, until the following morning I asked as I wanted to watch the funeral of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and rather testily the manager fiddled around until she told me she did not know how to fix the fault, but happily one of her work people was available and I did get a picture long enough to watch the major part of the service. On the bright side, the breakfast was very good indeed, with a bircher muesli to die for and a delicious fruit salad...good coffee and well cooked poached eggs... Value for money...perhaps not...

This is a lovely property not terribly far from the airport (I think it was like 10 or 15 minutes away) and in a good neighborhood. The owner of the house is extremely nice and the accommodations were excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Hedge House is a little gem, a short uber ride away from anything in Cape Town you would like to see. The owner, Judy, is helpful and gracious and really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is a good one. Breakfast was excellent each morning and our bed was extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B for your visit to Cape Town

Great location and warm welcome. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Nice extra touches with tea/coffee supplies and fruit.

We arrived on an early morning flight and taxied to the Hedge House in mid-morning. We were welcomed to relax at the pool side until the room was ready. Chuck and Pongo greeted and welcomed us as well. Breakfast was delicious, especially the lovely breads!

Such a nice place to stay! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. A home away from home.

This is the third time I have stayed at Hedge House and it has never disappointed. The room was fantastic - large, airy and spotlessly clean. Judy and her staff are always around to help out with anything, and the breakfasts are just delicious. Very warm and welcoming place to stay!
