One night stay on our way home from Florence

Upon arrival we were met by 1 of the owners who showed us our room and explained everything we needed to know. We have never met such nice genuine people that go above and beyond to help. There is a stairwell / steps down to the lake which I imagine if your elderly or disabled would cause an issue but we loved the challenge. In the reception there are bus and ferry timetables, a booklet printed by the owners of places to visit as well as leaflets. It is a beautiful family run hotel and we are hoping to visit again.

The location is amazing with a nice terrace/restaurant viewing the lake. The service was great. Room had a nice view, was clean but furniture was old. Be aware that it is not good for people having issues in walking stairs and/or up and down hill.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the centre of Cannero Rivera. Cannero Rivera has has lot of nice restaurants, a loveIy lido which you can visit for free and is well maintained. Generally Cannero Riviera has a very pleasant feel about it and is not over developed. It is not an easy walk back to the hotel as the last stretch to the hotel is quite a step footpath and not lit at night. The hotel has a fantastic open view over the Lago Maggiore and the mountains beyond. Good self service breakfast. We had an apartment which was well equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is quite basic and in need of some refurbishment.

This is a surprising find and a great value! We booked a lake view room (number 14) and it was lovely! Amazing view of the sunrise on the lake in the morning. The main town and restaurants are a 10min walk down the hill and along the lakeside. But we ate dinner three nights in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious!! The hallways are very loud in the morning from the cleaning crew and other guests talking loudly. And the wifi isn't very strong. But otherwise this is a gem! Hire a boat for a few hours and tour the lake. No license required!

To call a fan for ac is a bit strong. Other than that the hotel was great!

Hotel incantevole, personale accogliente e cordiale, appena fuori dal paese facilmente raggiungibile attraverso una passeggiata lungo lago. La terrazza ristorante da sola vale la scelta del posto. Ristorante raffinato. Camera pulita.

Sehr gute Lage. Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit Blick über den See.

Das Hotel ist nostalgisch. In dem Teil, in dem wir wohnten war das Bad eine eingefügte Nasszelle (weniger schön). Das Zimmer war nicht gerade komfortabel.

Inhaber und Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Service top! Essen hervorragend mit Gemüse und Kräutern aus dem hoteleigenen Garten. Zimmer sehr sauber.

Bezauberndes Städtchen mit ausgedehntem Strandbereich, sehr schönen parkähnlichen Liegewiesen. Schöne Altstadt mit südlichem Flair. Noch nicht touristisch überlaufen. Herrliche Lage am Lago Maggiore.

Fürsoeglich geführtes Hotel in Strand- und Ortsnähe. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit sehr schönem Seeblick. Die Möbilierung in einem Teil des Hotels ist rustikal im anderen modern. Z.T. überdachte Stellplätze.

Hotel mit in die Jahre gekommenem Charme, sehr guter Küche und sympathischem Konzept - Verwendung von Produkten aus eigener Ernte und Herstellung. Wunderbar duftende Wäsche. Morgendliche Klettertour zum Strand lohnt mit erfrischendem Bad in sehr sauberem Seewasser.

Das Abendessen war echt total lecker, das Frühstück am nächsten Tag dafür sehr nüchtern und enttäuschend, Schade!

Lage und Hotel sind ein wundervolles Ambiente in Kombination zum Lago Maggiore. Schöne Terrasse mit wundervollem Ausblick.

auf der Terasse genossen wir einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore bei einem guten Glas Wein. Das Nachtessen war ausgewogen und fein. Wir konnten aus 3 Zimmern auslesen und bekamen das allerschönste mit Glasverzierungen und dem tollen Ausblick. Die unter dem Hotel vorbeifahrenden Autos störten nicht sehr und wir schliefen sehr gut.

Avons passé une nuit à la Rondinella où nous avons occupé 2 chambres dans la partie ancienne de l'hôtel qui était autrefois une maison bourgeoise : si le confort est simple elle a beaucoup de charme et on jouit d'une vue magnifique sur le lac. Le propriétaire est très agréable et fait le maximum pour satisfaire ses clients! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié mais n'avons pu juger la restauration car le lundi soir le restaurant est fermé. Une adresse à conseiller mais pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

très bon accueil, vue parfaite sur le lac, belle maison de caractère, seul bémol, la chambre est vieillissante.
