We came to hike in the park and when we had a 100% rain and fog day, we were so happy to have such a comfortable home away from home for downtime. We stayed in one of the new cabins and it had everything we needed. The bonus was the resident cat Lucky who we met up with a few times during our stay. Thank you for providing such great acommodations in National Park Village.

What a joy it was to arrive at this place and be warmly welcomed by a lovely young French lady Agnes. We were ushered to our upgraded accommodation which was toasty warm! These new chalets are just completed and so everything is brand new! The king sized bed was super comfy with extra blankets provided. The shower is sublime! Plenty of piping hot water to warm you up after a day on the snow fields! We had delicious hot breakfasts served on gorgeous china….coffee served in silver coffee pots! It is such a charming place, complete with a playful cat Lucky! My granddaughter was smitten!! Thoroughly recommend ~ excellent service & value for money! Thank you Louis and staff!

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay in the Jerusalem Suite with easy access to the kitchen shared with one other suite. We used the kitchen to self cater (as National Park has limited dining options and my partner is vegetarian) and made use of the oven and gas hob. We had the use of a fridge and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, etc needed for producing meals. Our room had a good sized bed, plus a sofa and table and a couple of dining chairs. A small wardrobe, but only three hangers. The en suite bathroom was also spacious with a large shower cubicle. Easy parking on site. We used the complementary laundry facilities to catch up on some washing. Very nice hosts, who offer to assist with arrangements for the Tongariro Crossing if you need this. Breakfast is available at an additional charge - but we had planned to self cater.

Our room was simple but very cozy and comfortable! Our host was incredibly gracious and accommodating, including offering to drive us to and from the train station. Given the price this place is an amazing value and highly recommended when visiting for the crossing.

2 bedrooms was nice. Beds were comfortable. Couch under tv was not convenient. Bathroom was clean and large, however, there was a back door to a shared courtyard that had clear glass in front of the bathroom door. The kitchen was very small, had everything, but a cooktop. Fridge did not freeze ice packs or keep things very cold.
