very nice and quiet just outside the downtown. bit of a walk to the busy downtown area of Reykjavik, but if you don't mind that then its worth saving for a less crowded and easy going area. Plus side it was closer to larger stores you may want supplies from (big grocery/costco/etc) and it was easier to hit the road to drive out to tour different sites. Parking was free if you can find it, but there was a fair bit of street parking so we didn't have issues. Kids loved it, would definitely go back

This hostel was great, the rooms were small but clean and tidy and warm for a winter in Iceland. Very rarely did I have to wait to use the restroom. The cafe below is super convenient and the food is delicious. No complaints

In the heart of Reykjavik.

After arriving to check in they could not find my reservation even though I had my confirmation and receipt of payment. They had to call another office who put them on hold to see where was my reservation. They do not disclose that guests have to rent a towel for a few, seriously even that's not provided. Please do yourself a favor and book elsewhere I will not recommend this place.

Quiet clean room with shared bathrooms, kitchen, washing machine. restaurant in the check in area. Best value for money in Reykjavik. No breakfast served and no nearby shops. Need a car to get around.

The entrance to the guest house is behind a restaurant with garbage dumpsters. We had an economy room that was the size if a large elevator, it’s window did not open. that in itself would have been fine, but the lavatory was in the hall outside our door. The ventilation in the guesthouse was a problem for me.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay!

Our stay was great. The guest house was super clean and it had all the amenities that we needed. Is definitely a good and affordable option in Reykjavik. Obviously it’s very simple and the room was tiny but we were expecting that. I feel that the relative price value was perfect.

Accent colours, easy check-in, cleanliness were top things about this property.

Nice hostel. However, garbage was overflowing and toilets were frequently out if tissue papers. Please replenish timely.
