Its a beautiful view and great staff but the shower in my room is clogged the water was not getting away; it was in the 3rd floor and under the bed was very dusty and dirty.

A very nice modern and luxurious hotel near the airport and the Black Sea; in fact, all rooms have a water view. The breakfast buffet has lots of options and there's a cook to make custom omelettes for a reasonable fee. The coffee wasn't very good, thank goodness for Nescafe. The hotel does not serve dinner or drinks, and unfortunately it's in a restaurant desert. For good food you need to go into town by taxi (app 300 Tl in October 2023) or by minibus (16.5 TL). You can also drive your rental car if you are comfortable with limited parking. The hotel has an elevator as it is 8 stories tall. The hotel fronts a busy highway which makes getting to the sea a challenge, although there's a pedestrian bridge about 200 meters away. As an added bonus, you can see down the runway at TZX and watch planes take off and fly over your head at about 500 feet during breakfast!

Noise every were cars, trucks, airplanes I can’t sleep.

Forget staying any where else in Trabzon. We were booked in another hotel in the Maydan area and abandoned it for Mell Hotel. The property is modern, spacious and very clean. It is well staffed and they, for most parts speak English. Breakfast service is very unique in that they serve you a plate full of cheese and jams…. and then offer an a la carte of eggs or other hot item. They were more than happy to bring us anything on the cold plate that we wanted more of. Also don’t let the other reviews influence you about the hotel being located near a petrol station. You hardly see it and the store is a great place for a late nigh snack not to mention a very convenient place to gas up before returning the rental car. Property is very close to both the old and new sections of town. Free parking was provided

It was my second stay at mell otel. Everything was perfect. Room, food, stuff..

it is a beautiful hotel, the staff friendly and kind. It is clean and quiet. It is a little far from the center. for those who travel with a car no problem for those, like me, who travel w/o a car you have two choices ; a. to take a taxi. b. to go with a dolmus minibus (they carry up to 10 pax) it costs only 2.75 tl. you can cross the road on the bridge and wait for one. in order to come back you take the dolmush in an alley back of the Meydan which is the center of the town the station is called AYVALIK.

Otelden sahile geçmek için yürümek ve üst geçidi kullanmak gerekiyordu.ben çocuklu olduğum için zordu. Taksi kullandım. Otelden sahile giriş olsaydı çok iyi olurdu. Odanin havası ağırdı sanki uzun aylardır içine girilmemiş. Tozlanmis gibi, söylediğimde dip temizlik yeni yapıldı dediler. Ayrıca da gece odadan pencerenin yanından sanki biyere su damlar veya saat akrebi döner gibi ses geliyordu. Ortada saat de yoktu. Gece yarısı uyanıp sonra onun sesine geri uyuyamadigi oldu.soyledgimde de yagmur suyu borulara damlıyor onun sesi dediler.ama yağmur da yagmamisti. O ses beni rahatsız etti.

Işim geregi bircok 5 yildizli otellerde kaldim. Ailemle yapacagim karadeniz gezisinde 2 günü trabzona ayirdim ve 1 gun boyuncada ailemin konforu icin otel arastirdim. Bu otel icin sunlari diyebilirim. Otel odalari temiz, oda kokmuyordu. Otel calisanlari samimi ve yardimseverdi. Sabah kahvaltisi yeterliydi. Otelin otoparki mevcut ve merkeze yakin. Benim odam deniz manzaraliydi ve cok keyif aldim. Birsonraki gezim rize olsa bile ailemle bu otelde tekrar kalmak isterim.
