Being Student accommodation it is good value for money and okay for a short stay in London but i found the bed fairly uncomfortable, the room was very stuffy which meant having the window open all the time. The shower never got properly warm and the building is not very sound proof which means you hear people shouting and doors banging at all hours of the day (and night) The breakfast was good and the reception staff were friendly. Location is good as it is a short walk to the nearest tube station and local shops.

This is an LSE dormitory, which can be rented for the summer. Hence it is exactly what you’d expect: simple, functional, and clean enough for a short-term stay. The rooms and shared facilities were in line with expectations, and the location was convenient. Breakfast, however, came with an unexpected quirk: while they serve a full English breakfast, the staff seem unusually fond of saying “no” to requests for extra portions. You can decline individual items from the plate, but you can’t ask for more of the items you do want. It’s a small detail, but ruins breakfast every morning. Overall book it if you're on a tight budget and are flexible.

I keep coming back to this student dorm in summer for decades now... The location is lovely, there's a bus every two minutes but it's also walkable to many restaurants, cinema, theatre and shops. I love the breakfast buffet and of course the price. Makes London theatre trips affordable for me. The rooms are basic and clean, no en suite though, with a very useful kitchen for every couple of rooms.

This accommodation cuts all corners, to the extent that i find it very unpleasant just being in my room. It is HOT. Its over 30 degrees in London and the rooms literally feel heated, they must be incredibly well insulated. The windows barely open, and there's no fan or air conditioning, so during the day I genuinely can't even stay in my room. Dozens of people I know, including myself, have had to buy desk fans just to be able to sleep. No exaggeration here, if you're staying in summer, you will be hot. The lighting in the room is dim, the beds are thin and hard, the tap in the room doesn't have drinkable water. The walls are very thin. The shared kitchens are poor, very few items supplied, and there wasn't even a cutting knife. Many of the utensils had bits of food on them. The service is good. The breakfast is great and options are extensive. The common room is very pleasant, and there are outdoor areas. The location is good too, just one bus ride and a short walk to most locations. Not much within walking distance besides Exmouth Markets and Angel, but its still a good location. Everything is good except for the rooms!

Choose any other place. The stench of the self-service kitchens, the lack of privacy in the communal showers and toilets (occasionally overflowing with water, urine, fecal matter), the unfriendliness of the cafeteria staff, and the clique-y, self-absorbed, and non-cohesive camaraderie among students contributes to an alienating, lonely, and sordid experience indeed
