I had a few days in Pompeii and staying at this hotel was just perfect. The location felt very safe (female solo traveller). It was in walking distance from both train stations from Napoli, the entrance to Pompeii ruins was very close and all the eateries and bars were just a little walk (started 150m) up the road, leaving the actual location of the hotel nice and quiet. The staff were super helpful and friendly the couple of times I needed assistance and the room was nice, quiet and spacious. I will definitely stay here next time I come to the area - a definite considering the amazing surrounds.

Great place to stay. Clean and friendly. A great breakfast and very close to the amphitheatre entrance to the Pompeii ruins.

This apartment was in a great location to all the sites. It’s a little far from the train station. We took a taxi. It is on the third floor but Ermanno came right after we arrived and carried our bags upstairs. The three flights of stairs were no problem without luggage. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice having a living room to sit in instead of having to sit on your bed in a hotel room. The room was very well stocked with lots of recommendations. Ermanno arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which was very reasonable. There is a club downstairs build with young people, but we were supplied earplugs and had some of our own so it wasn’t a problem for us. Again, the location was great. You could walk to all the main attractions within 30 minutes.

We stayed at Il Vecchio Fauno March 2024 it is located directly in front of the Ruins. Everything is walking distance. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and gives you a sense of home. We stayed in room 101 which is near the front door, service desk and the dinning room, our window overlooked the amazing back yard view including the mountains. The room was always kept clean and fresh towels were always available. The owner Daniel was so welcoming and truly made us feel at home. He gave us restaurant recommendations and provided locations that the locals love. It was such a pleasure to stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel. We plan on coming back and here is where we will be staying.

Conveniently located, pleasant hotel. Our room was a bit small, only space for one to pass at the end of the bed. Staff were friendly, interesting paintings and a lovely hotel cat. Our main disappointment was breakfast. The bread wasn't very good and the cornetti and cake I tried were stale. Sure I saw one guest bringing their own rolls at breakfast on one occasion.
