Fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view, and it’s right next to the excellent d-day museum. No parking on site, but that’s not a big issue. There’s a public parking lot a two minute walk away, for a very reasonable price. The room was small and the most bothersome thing was the heavy cobwebs at the window - they could clean those windows once a month, perhaps.

Great location right on Gold Beach...The Dining Room offered Excellent views....Superb Breakfast, Dinner and Excellent staff.... special Commendation to the breakfast host, Kelli and Sylvie and Ocean at the from desk....They all ensured that my wife and I enjoyed a Wonderful stay....We are already planning on a return....

Great location. Small room, not even a kettle for a cuppa or a wardrobe to hang anything up. Staff are abrupt, verging on rude. Restaurant extremely expensive.

The view of the beach was amazing. Small room but perfect for couple of nights stay.

The location right on the beach was perfect. Our windows all had views of Normandy Beach…where on arrival the sea was rough with strong winds and rain and in the morning the skies were blue and everything seemed calm. We had a very spacious and clean room for 3 guests. We look forward to returning!

Reception staff we so helpful… attentive and actually concerned about helping us with any question or concerns we expressed! Room was spacious and very clean. Views from the hotel (room/restaurant) were spectacular. Meals in the restaurant were delicious and wait staff very helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again in a heart beat!

My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. We stayed in a small room with a lovely view of the Arromanche beaches. The location of this hotel provided wonderful access to Normandy D day landing sites, museums and cemeteries. It is directly across from the recently renovated Museum de Debarquement in Arromanche. We lived out of our suitcase as there was no dresser or closet. Despite this limitation, we had a wonderful time during the 3 day stay. The front desk was very accommodating, letting us check in at 1pm on the date of our arrival. They also let us use a parking spot in the employee parking, although this is not generally available. We enjoyed the meals in the restaurant so much that we had breakfast and dinner there for all 3 days. It was both a historic and romantic accommodation. We definitely want to return!

Nice view! but no parking and we find one but the ticket machine was not working right also at the dining the water have a attitude and poor service and the food was average

Cannot get a better location in Arromanches than this classic old seaside hotel. Front desk reception was so friendly. The staff makes this hotel feel quaint and family run. Our room was lovely and very stylishly decorated, as well as spacious and incredibly clean. It had a nice view of the sea, as well as the museum (which is right next door). The hotel is situated directly on the seaside promenade. The rooms lock from both the inside and outside with an actual key. We ate both dinner and breakfast in their restaurant and found the food to be very good. The restaurant wraps around the front of the hotel and has wonderful views. We will definitely stay here again.

Seaside view was amazing with the changing tide! So much history in this area. The staff was very helpful and kind. We hope to return!
