The hotel itself was very nice however, we faced a very big issue with our room. After leaving, we were unable to get back into the room with our key cards. Upon returning to the front desk and receiving two new key cards, we still could not get into our room. We waited over 3 1/2 hours at the hotel, unable to leave unable to get our things or do absolutely anything before the hotel offered to provide us another room. The hotel did not offer us any discount or any other accommodations and it was only after 3 1/2 hours and it was already 10 PM before they offered to give us a new room. We stood outside of our room as somebody with a crowbar tried to pry open our door unsuccessfully we were told they were going to have to cut the door down to get our things, but we had to continue waiting as they just kept trying to pry it open. Finally, we got moved to a downgraded room and had no other accommodations discounts or reimbursement. This prevented us from doing anything else the second half of the day because you’re unable to get into our room to grab our things.

Cool place. Clean rooms and cool bar. Short walk to Busch stadium and just our mt of the way to avoid the crowds. My wife and I love staying here.

The mattress was so horrible we hardly got any sleep. room was pretty clean but didnt like the used dental floss left on the counter. bathroom door was sprung and didnt close. no matterss pad on the bed so the fitted sheet kept coming off'

We were very underwhelmed by this hotel. We had high hopes after reading previous reviews but were sadly disappointed when we arrived in person. Do not waste your money for a corner room or a ‘view’. Your view will only be vacant, dilapidated buildings covered in graffiti. I tried to request a higher floor via this app but once the staff did reply they said my reservation appeared to be cancelled (I had a previous cancellation for different dates.) I did not get a response via this app when I explained this and when I tried to call to confirm our reservation there was no answer and no return call, although I did leave a message. The pillows were not great and I spent most of our ‘vacation’ with neck and shoulder pain. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The advertised Sky Bar wasn’t even open yet. There was dirt and personal items from previous guests left under the bed and chairs.

Very low end service for a “high end hotel” dirty rooms (not just mine, co-workers too). Normally complementary coffee moved around the corner for a fee because of convention. Staff was not pleasant and didn’t want to help. Was told a few times the manager would call me but they never did.

This hotel experience was amazing starting from the customer service at the door, to the restaurant, and condition of the room. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the food could have been much better for the price, and the water pressure in the shower was less than stellar. But the views with floor the ceiling widows were gorgeous!

I have loved Hotel Saint Louis since it's opening. I have noticed that now that it's been open for a while it's lost some of those touches that make that hotel feel like a unique experience. They no longer have reusable water bottles and don't offer any form of a mini bar. The market that they have is overpriced and very limited especially considering there is a grocery store two blocks away. I had to remake my bed on arrival because it was messily put together. I still have a special place in my heart for this hotel but it is disheartening to see such a decline in their attention to detail.

The stay was very pleasant, room was top notch. Only problem we had which was a huge problem is when I checked my account I had $546 of extra charges on my debit card. My room was booked on my credit card but used debit card to hold for damages and looked on the night before we left and had 4 charges on my debit card. They are fixing this they have said but it put me in a bind because it takes up to 5 days to get refunded. Definitely becareful about what cards they use because some of us have limited funds on certain cards. I feel they could have done better besides apologies and refund in 5 days. Took you 1 day to withdraw from my account and I have to wait 5 for my funds back? Not happy and can’t leave a good review. Definitely won’t book here again.

Staff is great along with service. This particular room was in need of some repair. Chair at desk was not working properly and the rug under the coffee table corners were curling so that you could trip over it

Would stay here again. Didn’t feel unsafe in the neighborhood but the old abandoned buildings didn’t leave much to look at. Staff was great.
