The staff was very helpful, although the hotel was a bit older than I expected with no amenities for a nights stay it’s not too bad especially if you are in town to see a West End show, it’s in a prime location.

My husband and myself stayed one night in the hotel to see a show. Hotel was Ideally situated close to tube, theatres restaurants shopping and Covent Garden. I requested a ground floor room which the Manager granted. The room was lovely and quiet and very clean with usual amenities like kettle Good value for money and we’d recommend it

For 4 adults, it felt like we had our own little flat in London . It was centrally located to city sights and must sees. Loved that it was on a fairly quiet street not far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Friendly and helpful staff were able to assist immediately when necessary; which includes having no hot water in the bathroom when we first arrived. Would definitely stay at the Fielding again. Thank you for such a great start to our European vacation.

HIDDEN GEM !!!!! Beautiful period property with added rustic charm and WHAT A LOCATION. Kind and attentive staff. Sanrio shop around the corner , secure parking on the next street . I would stay here as a lone woman and feel safe (had my children with me). Run dont walk. I will be adding another review to give the decent amount of credit this place deserves. Disability friendly too. Yes there are stairs but there’s also ground floor rooms so i dont know what people are moaning about with that- book a ground floor room then! Why be unkind? Not necessarily accurate either. We had 2 wheelchairs with us , son carried them up stairs it was the most gloriously beautiful experience and stay. I would love to say so much more and i will, but this needed saying and i will say it loud *****5 STAR FACILITIES IN THE ROOM/FLAT ****** *****HOB AND OVEN****** *****WASHING MACHINE ***** *****FULL SIZE FRIDGE FREEZER***** ***** BIG BEDS***** **** CARING STAFF 24HR CONCIERGE WITH SMILES AND RESPECT-WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? *****

Great location. Not too loud at night. Stayed her with kids traveling from the US and although a little cramped it worked out great.

Great location, room size generous, AC and good bathroom. Unfortunately, something in room caused my allergies to flare and I was bitten along neck and arm, so an uncomfortable night.

I like this location, feels safe at night. and also 24 hours reception. Though no fancy coffee machine and no fridge, room has character and basic, using real keys to open door, Burlington taps and rain shower. No bath, shower is clean and water was hot. Wi-Fi was good and bear in mind not all rooms have digital television. I also like the lighting by staircase and corridor were well lit up, it was homely and cosy, just like a house. Receptionist Angus was most helpful, as our first room given, rm 33, the air con was not powerful enough we then asked whether possible for an alternative and it was offered quickly to another room without fuss, we changed to another room swiftly at midnight. I will recommend this hotel. Remember to bring herbal teabags or decaf as only cafeffinted. Complimentary bottles of water was given.

The photos unfortunately do not accurately represent the room we were given. It was run down, sparsely decorated and disappointing. The net curtains had holes in them and the furniture was battered and old. The beds were very hard and not comfortable. The one good thing about it was the bathroom, which was clean and looked newer than the rest of the room. The room was like a furnace, but the air-conditioning was stuck at 18 degrees and when we called the reception, the man who came up to check it didn't have a clue how to change the settings. I will say, despite all this, the location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from Covent Garden Station and from the outside the hotel did look pretty. Also, the room was ready early and so they kindly allowed us to check in a bit before 3pm. It's just a shame that the room was such a let down.

On arrival, staff were very pleasant and helpful, so we left our bags and went out. When we called back to check in, our bags had already been taken up to the room, which was lovely, especially as we had 3 flights of stairs to go up. So not the place to stay if you have mobility issues. Staff were lovely and location was perfect. We only stayed here for one night, so the issues I am about to list probably could have been resolved with a different room or maintenance, but due to only being here for one night, didnt have the time to complain. The issues included; - Television - we had two - one didnt work and the other one, there were issues with signal on selected channels. -Air con - didnt work and the room was very cold - Cleanliness of the room - beds and bedding spot on, carpet looked like a patchwork quilt and had stains all over it. -There were no glasses in the room. - Cups didnt fit the saucers -Toiletries minimal - smallest of soaps and one plastic cup - Water pressure in shower horrendous, and water luke warm Overall hotel needs a makeover. We did notice that there was maintenance ongoing in the hotel, wish we had been told this before out stay. Would I stay again ……..? Only if I was guaranteed that it had a full makeover and everything was working. Could have stayed in accommodation close by for less and in much better condition. Really sad as staff and location are amazing.

Room standard and cleanliness was exceptional - the only minor negative was that the shower pressure was quite weak. Apart from that, the staff were polite and helpful, particularly when prior to our stay i realized that I had made a mistake with the booking date (due to a late theatre ticket change). I explained my mistake to the hotel directly, and they immediately just moved the stay back 1 day without any issue, which was really appreciated. Perfect location for Theatreland/West End, plenty of bars and restaurants. We will book again for sure!
