The location was great, quiet and minimal background lighting. The northern lights were impressive. Our host prepared a delicious breakfast with a lot of variety.

Amazing. Everything about this place is perfection. Best meals I had in my Icelandic travels, cabins are beautifully furnished, the the location is breathtaking.

We were definitely wowed with our stay at Dalahyttur! We arrived late & the host was super lovely and accommodating of our needs, ensuring she had everything we wanted for breakfast the next day too, which was perfect! The room itself was wonderful - super cosy & warm with heated flooring in the bathroom! Wish we could’ve stayed longer, would definitely recommend!!

Great dark sky area..remote but good for Westfjords or Ring

Friendly host, clean cottage and awesome food. We stayed for 2 nights and had fish for dinner. It was delicious 😋

We had such a lovely stay here! The cottages are adorable, with great amenities. Definitely a step above other cottage hotels that we stayed in. And this property has the added benefit of a lovely little restaurant for dinners and a great hearty breakfast. (The dinners were Ala carte but the breakfast was included in our room rate). The owner and her staff were truly lovely and you could see the care that went into the property. A great option in this area!

Beautiful cabins! Very quiet and beautiful area. The size of room is on the smaller end.

We called in advance and arrived last at 22:30 but the check in was very smooth. Tbe cottage is set up very nicely.

Cozy room with spectacular views. It has everything you need and with breakfast included. Would recommend!

Amazing Location and Service.

Bed very comfortable. Shower was excellent, lots of hot water and pressure. Dinner was very tasty. Owner extremely helpful about surrounding area. Dirt road to location was very good. Blackout curtains were very good. No tv, which was great!

We went for some down time and we were not disappointed. Beautiful room with view of Icelandic countryside; lovely restaurant with great food; pleasant, helpful staff. Not for those who want to be in the hub of things, but if you’re looking for a quiet getaway to be alone with your thoughts or your partner, this is the place :)

Near new, very clean and comfortable accommodation. The view was incredible and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast was also great.

Lovely welcome and great personal touches like toiletries and robes. Dinner was beautiful and rooms new and comfortable. Best blackout curtains in the last 10 days !
