We had a very enjoyable stay at this quiet and comfortable guesthouse with courteous hosts and all the comforts of home. The location is also very good, being just a few miles north of Asbyrgi and Dettifoss. I would highly recommend it.

Great location, clean place. Common bathrooms.

The facilities are very clean and cosy. With all the indispensable services for one night. However, no direct contact with the staff and unfortunately no hot water in the morning for showering.

Our rental car broke down. They were extremely accommodating and concerned. We needed to wait 8 hours for the new car to be trucked to the guesthouse. Thank you !

This place has had many recent upgrades. Rand new WCs with heated floors. A new patio allows ample room for sitting outside. Located right outside the national park.

Nice place to stay for the night

We loved our stay. Very helpful and friendly owner.

No frills, but it seemed clean and comfortable. The bathrooms on one end are newly redone and and were clean and nice. It was hard to get a toilet/shower in the evening since a large group all arrived at the same time as we did. Many people waiting in line. We arrived later, so did not meet the owners, but they left a room key for us. We had use of a kitchen and storage in the refrigerator.

Allt hreint og fínt. Flest baðherbergi ný uppgerð. Gott netsamband. Sameiginlegt eldhús. Eina sem ég hef undan að kvarta er að það er ekki frystihólf í ískápnum.

Zweckmäßig, wir konnten hier wirklich sehr gut Aurora beobachten. Die Umgebung ist dunkel und ruhig. Spärlich eingerichtete Zimmer, aber soweit ok.

Isolé, au milieu de la végétation, très paisible. La guesthouse est tres bien organisée et équipée. Certaines chambres sont plus grandes que d’autres. Salles de bain propres et pratiques.

Una struttura molto ben organizzata e ben indicata sulla strada. Il bagno con il pavimento riscaldato è stata la sorpresa finale in un posto molto curato e pulito.

Krásný hotel, super vybavený na krásném místě.

Unattended appartment, but everything was perfectly prepared. Large kitchen with lot of equipment. Perfect location to stay in the Dettifoss region.
