Fairly central location. Well priced. Our drivers from airport and receptionist were great. Negatives: you only get about 5 min of hot water in the shower. Our rooms were extremely loud next to the kitchen and laundry room making sleep difficult. One day they spray painted the window to the laundry room that is also on the side of my room. The paint fumes gave me a migraine. My friends room had quite a few ants. The beds were also extremely hard and uncomfortable. Kinda just a step above a hostel.

Polite staff Clean rooms Locating hotel was very problematic Uber driver’s google maps I tried apple maps and google maps on my cell Better signage required; there is an iron gate with no signs, which is locked. You have to stick your hand inside the gate and unlatch the door lock. Only a local could have known that

Staff is amazingly nice, great location as well. The only downside is that we had a room next to the laundry room.... so, in between very early Am to 10 pm their is noise from the washer and dryer. We would hear people arriving and leaving. ..annoying too when they get up early for activities...Beds are real stiff, be aware!

Clean rooms, nice staff, hot water with great pressure. Great location and near all shopping. I will return soon MUST KNOW... This hotel is hidden from public view and NOT labeled with a sign or directions. You MUST enter through the closed metal gate just to the left of the church. The gate appears locked, but place your hand through the gate and move the slider in order to open the gate. The hotel will be approximately 30 feet on your left. Additionally, the listed phone number is not correct and they apparently do not have a contact number. If you arrive before 11pm local time, you should be able to enter. Not sure why no one else has ever provided this info before, so, I'm happy to help!

La Capatania was a great place to stay. We were able to walk to all the places to see in Antigua and dining options were very close. If walking is not for you then the tuk tuks are always close, many were sitting just across the street waiting for passengers. The staff was friendly and let us keep our bags there as we went on our hike to acantenango. I highly recommend La Capatania

We stayed here twice in one week and had great experience each time. The WiFi is pretty bad though

A pleasant surprise after reading some negative reviews. The hotel and our room were spotless and smelled very good. The staff was very nice and always had a smile on their face. A short walk to downtown Antigua. We would definitely stay here again.

El hotelito es vecino a la iglesia Ermita de Santa Lucía. Excelente ubicación sobre la Alameda Santa Lucía, y a 2 cuadras de Camino Real. La habitación tiene una cama, un gavetero y una mesa de noche. Justo para pasar la noche. Sábanas y almohadas limpias, A/C, y el baño nítido. La atención muy amable, me solucionaron dudas desde el booking y se portaron muy amables. Hasta me abrieron de madrugada que regresé de la boda!

La Capitania was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We felt very safe and aside from outside city noise, the hotel itself was very quiet. It is walking distance to everything in town. They made sure we got to the airport safely and on time at the end of our stay. Make sure to contact them before you get there so you get instructions on how to get through the gate.

The hotel was okay, friendly staff. The location is near the Mercado central (central market ) and bus terminal, which makes it a very congested, crowded and noisy area.

Cute little hotel. It was perfect for us. When we arrived the front desk didn’t speak English and the paperwork wasn’t in English. We had to ask our tour guide to help. Netflix was on the tv but it didn’t work. Stairs are a bit narrow. Be careful when coming down with luggage. My friend fell down the stairs. Room could use an iron and a little fridge. Walking distance from everything. AC worked very well. Very clean. We even got a light clean while we were out and about. That was nice. Loved the roof top terrace. Loved the window in the room too. Super cute. I felt very safe.

Pleasant, good location, clean. Needs are good and comfortable. We had a great night sleep. Only problem was the wifi did not reach the room, and we could not watch Netflix.
