Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice, freshly made to order. We didn't use the restaurant, therefore couldn't comment but it looked busy each evening.Rooms were spacious and very clean

Mark and Lucy run an excellent small family hotel. Lucy is an excellent chef. Do yourself a favour and book dinner in when making your booking - the food, largely made from local produce, is excellent.

Lovely place, very good value for money. Breakfast was exceptional. It was just a pity we had other arrangements for dinner as the menu looked superb. Will make a point of staying again with dinner.

This hotel felt like luxury the minute we walked into our room. The furniture was comfy and the TV on a great angle so as not to nearly break my neck trying to watch something. It's location is excellent, not on the noisier high street, and the staff were friendly. The food choices for dinner were amazing (though only 1 meal I was able to choose safely ) If you have health issues that mean you have to be very, very careful what you eat, check with the hotel first to be sure they can accommodate you.....I was quite hungry, they were very busy, and I didn't want to make a fuss....my bad... but it gets embarrassing being what most assume is being 'fussy.' Sadly it's not.......... You fill out a form to choose what breakfast items you want the following day and drop it off at the main desk before 9pm the night before. By the morning I was starving. The items I had selected the night before were all laid out on the table. Their system I'm sure works well for them and for all guests that can eat as they please. I need a buffet so I am not constantly feeling 'awkward!'

Clean room confined and great breakfast .

Lovely place to stay for a few days with the river running past the property within a green setting along the river bank. Disappointing was the menu was the same for the three days we stayed and too fussy for our tastes.

If you're looking for a non-chain accommodation and a local experience, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is suitable for those looking for a good base point to travel around the area. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Extensive whisky selection at the bar and fairly priced. Would come back again to explore more of the area.

Le personnel est impeccable. Le Wifi toutefois ne se rendait pas à notre chambre. La chambre aurait aussi besoin de rénovation (lit et douche).

Hotel was great very welcoming food was nice but restaurant gets very busy so would pre book . Breakfast was chosen the night before with a tick menu all was fresh and good. Would recommend this hotel for touring the area we travelled by motorcycles the parking area was large and felt safe at night.

Nice comfortable bed and large room,lovely lounge and bar area.Breakfast was ok. The bacon didn’t seem properly cooked.But apart from that everything was spot on. The food was hot as was my toast and tea
