The property was in a great location, the room was clean, staff was friendly especially the daytime staff. my feedback would be the following for travelers to be aware: There’s no A/C which may be fine most of the year but with the current heat wave it was very warm and uncomfortable making it difficult to sleep both nights. I wasn’t assisted with my luggage to the room nor given an introduction to the room to have known there was a fan inside the closet. In addition, to get to my room I had to take my suitcases by myself down a long hall then go up a few stairs then go back down a few stairs over carpet which was difficult with the suitcase and as a woman traveling by myself. The staff member who checked me in should have been aware of where the room was located and offered to assist with the luggage. Lastly recommend that the hotel should add dead bolts and locks to the rooms to feel more secure.

Enjoyed my stay here much more than I expected. (4x nights, vacation) Will be recommending to everyone I like and coming back next time I’m in Stockholm! Location - 10/10. Ended up walking most everywhere because the weather was enjoyable and I had the time. Tons of good food, sites, and shopping nearby. Surprisingly easy to access via public transit (bus/metro stops within a couple blocks) Staff - 10/10. Friendly and tremendously helpful. It’s clear they care about their guests’ experience. Breakfast - 12/10. Forgot my booking came with free breakfast!! I’m vegetarian and had a very easy time finding options at the buffet (also plenty of vegan options). Dining area is charming, ‘Parisian’ bistro. Left completely fueled and satisfied for each day’s adventure. Gym - 8/10. Had decent equipment. I did 1x workout and it wasn’t glamorous but also wasn’t why I was there. Close to a Barry’s bootcamp if you want more 💪 Room - 10/10. This is what I was most unsure about when booking. I booked a 2x twin room and wasn’t sure if boutique = ‘musty and dusty’ as it does in other areas of Europe. On the contrary - high ceilings with big windows that could be fully opened and ventilate the room. Blackout curtains helped with Nordic summer evening light. Bathroom was a bit dark and snug but nothing surprising for Europe. The bed was shockingly comfortable. Would happily book this room again. This place is very nice - I understand why Vogue Scandinavia wrote about it… 🤔

The hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was amazing and it’s a great location. If someone is looking for a quiet stay, I might not book as it’s in the heart of the nightlife. However the hotel does provide eat plugs. It didn’t bother us but good for others to know. Also, the wifi was terrible. This is the only piece of criticism. Every day we asked the front desk to have it fixed and every day it was not. Given part of this trio was for work travel, would not book again for this reason as was not able to work or connect to the wifi in the room. Otherwise a great stay!

The Sparrow Hotel is wonderful, staff extremely helpful, all of them kind and polite, welcoming . The Room was lovely , thank you for getting the extra bed ready for my grandson. Location so convenient to get to local attractions , what a beautiful area. The Breakfast choices was outstanding.The croissants are unmatched . Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Absolutely wonderful. The hotel decor was exceptional. The beds and bedding were exquisite, as were the bathroom products offered. The breakfast was delicious and staff were always attentive and helpful. Even in asking for an extra towel, in two minutes they were knocking on our door with several clean towels. It made us want to go back to Stockholm just so we could stay at The Sparrow again.

A beautiful hotel with such promise, but unless you are intent on partying all night, this is not a place where you can sleep, at least on the Friday and Saturday we stayed there. Throbbing music coming from the hotel’s restaurant/bar, revving motorcycles and other street noise pierce even the earplugs that are provided in every room by the hotel. We were able to check out and get a partial refund after two nights, but only after Expedia got involved. The lack of sleep completely disrupted our trip, and the hotel, which clearly knows of the issue, kept trying to shuffle us from room to room. Every reservation here should have a pop up with a big disclaimer about the noise.

Great hotel and breakfast

Great hotel in a central location in Stockholm. The rooms where nice and clean and the bathroom was better than most of the hotels we have stayed in. This is a great hotel for couples that give you time to relax and the breakfast was excellent.

The sparrow is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely area of Stockholm Sweden.

everything was pretty much perfect from the smile and friendly greeting we received before we even entered the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location near to public transport and with a beautiful restful park literally at the end of the street. The room was lovely and opening the bathroom door was a definite wow moment ! Breakfast was possibly one of the best selections ever seen and the quality of everything was just amazing. We ate in the lounge a few times and the service and quality was wonderful. When we asked for cocktails which were not on the menu they were supplied without any questions. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was another wow ! The reception staff helped us with travel apps, information and tips - Nothing was too much trouble. An excellent hotel on so many levels. We will certainly return and have already recommended it to friends :-)

What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful restored old building. The morning breakfast was a highlight, with an array of fresh breads, fruits, cheese and warm dishes in their lovely cafe. Don’t miss dinner in the cafe!!!! Specials thanks to the staff.

vibes, location and staff are amazing!! my room faced an alley which wasnt fun but still ok :) and the vegan section at breakfast was so great! def will be back
