The hotel is overall ok. Rooms are spacious enough and furniture is decent, but there’s room for improvement: beds and pillows can be more comfortable and the baby cot should be a better quality one. Overall, the furniture style is a bit dated. For a 4 star hotel and the price I expected a bit more. On the bright side: staff were nice, the access to internal swimming pool (water a bit cold) and sauna is nice, and the steak restaurant is really good. It’s a good option if you need to stay close to the airport (about 10 mins drive).

My partner and I had a great time staying at this hotel and achieved our goal of relaxing. The place is very beautiful, organized, cozy and with several comforts. The service was great and the breakfast delicious. Also, the location is very practical because it allows you to enjoy the nature and mountains while at the same time being closed to Salzburg.

Our room was pretty old and dirty. It had broken furniture with holes in Pads inside and it really did not feel like a 4 star hotel. Furthermore, the wifi was not really working on the first floor. After asking for a fix we just got the recommendation to restart our phones and that no one before us had problems with the wifi. We rated two stars because the pool and sauna were quite alright.

After a great 2 days with 2 veteran cars at the Grossglockner it was time to go home. We took some inner roads and ended up at this place by accident as we had some issues with one of the cars. It was a hot day and we were looking for a place to cool off and get something to eat. Found this nice place with a green courtyard and a great atmosphere. When we entered we were afraid this would be out of our range as the entry looked quite luxury but the menu featured some great meat (and non meat) options. They do the butcher part themselves which was clear when we got the dishes served. Some very good austrian classics (try the Tafelspitz) combined with some international options. Professional service. Not cheap but very good value at the end. Outside it was great. Inside a bit outdated in some places and they could use a bit of cleaning up in their private spaces :-). But when you're around, make sure you give it a try! I also always enjoy the Austrian staff dressing up in traditional clothing
