This hotel is nothing but a joke. Booked a 5 nights through Expedia and when I arrived they had sold my room to other guests since they already had been paid by Expedia. I had to wait in the lobby for 6 hours then booked another hotel at 3 am and had to pay it again. The hotel is old and unpleasant and the front desk is a complete disaster, I am surprised they are still open for business. They should be ashamed. If you want to have a miserable/horrible time than this dumpster is for you.

Hiya before I left for the airport this morning I realised a pair of earrings where missing and then when I got to the airport realised 200 Euro had been taking from my purse

The Hotel is very old and in bad condition it should be called motel and should not get more than 1 star rating but staff are very nice and friendly people

The hotel was beyond our expectations! It is place in the north of Bogota DC, in a quiet neighborhood but by the side of big avenues. This contrast is good when you want to sleep well and in the morning you need a taxi. The Service was excellent, the personnel is very kind and able to help in anything. The room was big, clean, and always being served. Our family enjoyed the most the delicious breakfast: fruits, eggs, pancakes, arepas, bread, chocolate, coffee, it was so yummy and made to order. This will be our choice next time we go to Bogota.

The room we stayed in was very noisy due to traffic, which didn't really stop until early hours then started roughly 4.30.am.Things start very early in Bogata. Our window didn't close properly so we had it closed permanantely by staff. I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. They really were kind friendly and helpful.

SHARED BATHROOMS. The sound of cars buzzing by outside the window is not good. Also the staff were too inquisitive about a lot of personal information in an unnecessary way. I got a call at night from the front desk asking me what my profession was. What did they have to do that for?

Excellent and safe hotel in a good neighborhood. Will stay there again. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast part of the fee and made to order.

The staff at Charlie's Place were terrific, so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent value and served so promptly. This hotel is in north Bogotá which is much quieter than the centre and is only 5 minutes walk from Usaquen station - if you happen to want to go on the tourist train. However, it does take over 30 mins to the other tourist attractions in the centre of town by taxi, or an hour on the bus system - 25 mins walk to the nearest 'station'. Our room no 113 was very noisy being next door to the main road and the bed was rather creaky.......

Very nice staff. The room was clean and the shared bath was clean and had hot water every morning.

The hotel is good, but don't expect too much from the rooms as they are quite basic. However, the staff was simply amazing - they switched us to a different room with no noise without even asking, gave us tips and helped us with everything we needed. Overall I highly recommend the hotel.

A very nice relatively small hotel. The staff was great. Their English was very good, and they didn't seem to mind my practicing my Spanish. A short distance to the main shopping and restaurant zones, the surrounding neighborhood seemed safe and was mixed residential and commercial. I travel frequently and will definitely plan to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great and there was good internet access in their business center. I was disappointed in the location, far away from sites we wanted to visit and very noisy, all day and all night long, situated by very busy streets. I had wanted to be in a safe walkable neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. This location was safe but only had a shopping mall close by.

The hotel is in a good location and safe. The room wasn't the nicest, but very spacious and did the job. The breakfast is really good!
