Review of Lorin Syariah Hotel Solo ⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at Lorin Syariah Hotel Solo on May 18–19, 2026 in the Standard Room type which includes breakfast. The room uses 1 large bed and the overall experience of staying is quite comfortable. The check-in process was assisted earlier around 12:30 so it was quite helpful when arriving early. The parking area is also spacious so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space. The hotel atmosphere feels cool and calm with a comfortable sharia nuance. The most impressive thing is that there is a speaker reciting the Quran and the call to prayer can be heard during prayer times, so the atmosphere feels more calming and different from ordinary hotels. For the room: Cold AC Fast wifi Get a city view Comfortable bed for resting The hotel location is also strategic because it is close to: Pondok Modern Assalam Surakarta Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) Culinary places In my opinion, the breakfast is delicious and quite satisfying for a 3-star hotel. The downside is that the TV in the room is still a regular TV and not a smart TV, so the entertainment is quite standard. Overall, this hotel is suitable for those looking for comfortable, quiet, and Islamic-themed accommodation in the Solo area.

The staff was friendly, the food and desserts were delicious, and there were plenty of choices. The room was comfortable, and outside noise didn't come in. The downside was that the bathroom smell wafted into the room (on the 11th floor) even though the door was closed and cleaned. It was very annoying, but after complaining, the staff offered to change rooms 🌻

The air conditioning in the room wasn't cold enough, and the mattress was also hard, meaning it wasn't soft enough.

During a long weekend, I was still able to get a room near my workplace at a reasonable rate, which was incredibly grateful! The bathroom water wasn't clear at first, so I went to the receptionist and was offered a temporary solution: gallon water, and the service department quickly fixed it and drained it. I also managed the lost and found situation well when I left my shoes behind. The staff, from the security guard, the information desk, the restaurant, and the customer service, were all great!

When I first entered the room, the bathroom shower was broken and smelled of cockroaches. I immediately told the hotel staff to replace it. Thankfully, they immediately replaced it with a new one. I liked the quick response. Thank you. 🙏 Just a suggestion: improve room cleanliness in the future.

My first experience staying at this hotel, it was worth the price, but the bathroom drain still needs to be fixed, as it tends to smell bad, which is very disturbing. The shower water pools on the floor, making it easy to slip. The food variety is a bit lacking. They could have added a little more variety to the side dishes and made them more appetizing. Hopefully, things will get better in the future 🙏🏻
