When I made my reservation, I included a special request. However, it wasn't heeded during check-in. After I complained, they upgraded my room.
Room 101, which was initially described as a deluxe, felt very small, just like the picture of a superior room. The room was also uncomfortable. Besides being noisy, some of the bedroom floor tiles were loose when stepped on. The bathroom also looked dull and dirty.
After upgrading to a Junior Suite, I felt the comfort and cleanliness of the room.
There was no information available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Malioboro Street is closed from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM WIB. As an out-of-town guest, I had difficulty finding access to the hotel.
The hotel staff couldn't be contacted. The hotel's social media profile also doesn't list a local phone number; only a WhatsApp number is available for chat, not phone calls.
The location is close to the center of Malioboro. There are many souvenir shops around the hotel, and the street food options are quite tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The parking area is small.
