The elevator wasn't working. Our family had to climb three flights of stairs to our room and then to the lobby to get out. The room wasn't very spacious.

When we arrived, the elevator was broken, and there was no information at all. No staff helped us with heavy luggage; we were sent to a high floor. Poor parents, having to climb stairs in a hotel like this. Next, if the elevator is broken, at least don't give them a high room. Going up one floor is fine, but three floors?

Still okay, the price is also okay.

The hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel facilities are good, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean.

The bathroom was uncomfortable, with sticky floors and unreliable hot water, and crusty walls. The cabinet under the TV was dusty and dirty, but the blankets and bed were comfortable and clean.

The overall service and service are very satisfying, the location is close to tourist attractions and culinary centers.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The price is so affordable for the hotel located in the city center. It'll better if the hotel gives more attention to the bathroom cleanliness. I got hair loss in the floor drain (of course not mine, before I used the bathroom it's already there). And the hotel has to make sure that the WiFi signal is always stable, because my signal was completely lost while I was in the room. But overall, the hotel was great!!!

Friendly hotel staff, strategic location

While it looks nice from the front, the room lacks a wardrobe and the TV antenna connection is poor, making it impossible to watch TV. The blankets are dirty and look like they haven't been changed, there are cockroaches, and the toilets are like public restrooms with tiny sinks. It's truly an unforgettable experience. I apologize, but the staff service was excellent.

Staying at City Hotel Balikpapan was quite pleasant, access to everywhere was close, the room was clean, when I go to Balikpapan I always stay here.

There's only one power outlet, and it's at the end. Honestly, I don't understand the concept of this hotel. If you really don't want to provide power outlets, you'd be better off not having them. The bathroom is very dirty. The AC isn't cold. The location is strategic, but the hotel is disappointing.

Overall good, but next time please pay attention to the bedsheets. There are blood stains. It's better to replace them. Even though they may have been washed, they are still inappropriate in my opinion.

Clean and comfortable room. It was a pleasure to stay at City Hotel Balikpapan.

I have stayed here several times and am always a regular, because it is close to the city, comfortable and recommended.
