Enjoy a rural atmosphere not far from downtown Garut. A few notes for those planning to stay here: There are no hotel slippers; if you need them, bring your own. There's a kettle, but no coffee sachets. You can bring your own or buy them at Indomaret, which is very close by. We forgot to try the Wi-Fi, as it's a bit far from our room to the front desk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here; the atmosphere was peaceful, and on a weekday, there didn't seem to be any other guests besides us. By the way, we upgraded to the Papandayan room for an additional IDR 100,000 on site.

A peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those of you who want to rest amidst the noise

It's actually quite comfortable, but if you can get together, it might not be suitable if you're alone.

We got it for almost 700,000 Rupiah, the room was spacious, and the village atmosphere was perfect. However, there was a lot of gecko droppings and the sheets were worn out. The restaurant is also only open until 8:00 PM and reopens at 10:00 AM. Overall, it's okay if you're staying independently, so bring your own snacks.

It's okay for a stopover, as the vibe is still pristine. It's about 30 minutes to Darajat Pass.

The bathroom light went out because of the cable, they said. The light needs to be maintained so it doesn't go out again.

It feels like home. A comfortable rural atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle. A real expanse of nature.

Overall, it's actually very comfortable here, the area is also cool so you don't need AC or a fan. The staff are also very friendly. But because the roof and room are made of bamboo, lots of insects like geckos and cockroaches get in, especially flying cockroaches :(( The geckos also make a lot of gecko droppings. Apart from the insects, the vibe is really like going home to grandma's house. Worth to try!

Since 2018, I have stayed there 3 times, now in 2025 I tried to go there again, but the maintenance is lacking. It would be a shame if a place like that was left alone. There are no more rice fields, many banana trees are destroyed and left like that. So it looks like a slum. The sheets, towels, etc. already smell musty too. It looks like no one has slept there for a long time. Don't just focus on the restaurant, please pay attention to the accommodation. This village has become a place of memories with my late father in 2018. Hopefully there will be improvements.

It was my first time in Garut, but it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The hotel is beautiful, very aesthetic, transporting me back to the old days. The food at the restaurant is also delicious.

The staff is very friendly, the weather is really nice even though there is no AC, in the room there is a thermos for boiling water, it's good, recommended.

The atmosphere is like returning to your grandmother's village home in the past. A very aesthetic restaurant from the past.

The accommodation is located inside the Sasakala restaurant. The rooms are quite comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. It needs a lot of repairs because the pool and rice fields are not well maintained and some parts of the rooms are dusty.

Overall, the place is nice, but the bathroom and bed need some cleaning. I think the sheets need to be changed to prevent them from looking dull. The hotel staff was very responsive and helpful.

If you typically like the rustic feel, it's perfect.. you can hear the sounds of insects in the trees, it's quiet and peaceful.. :)

The atmosphere is cool and comfortable, there are many play areas and good photo spots, suitable for family vacations and just healing/staycation, it's a great recommended destination.

Many are no longer fit for use.
