This is the umpteenth time I have stayed with my family at the SD Palembang Hotel, a legendary hotel that still has the best service and cleanliness, and road access right in front of KI.

The service is good, and I also enjoyed staying here, even though the hotel is old. But, it is close to Sunday morning activities in Palembang. You can jog and also all the typical Palembang food is available at Kambang Iwak.. Hehe

The technicians were happily smoking in their small room on the guest floor. The hallway leading to the room smelled awful, like socks worn for years without being changed. The AC might be a Daikin, but it was incredibly noisy. It looked like the compressor had been left without oil.

The room is spacious, the staff is friendly. However, the AC is not cold, it's hot. The breakfast is not varied, many are empty even though there is a sign, but the staff said it was empty. The bathroom curtains are dirty.

The room's AC was leaking, the pillows smelled musty, and the room was stuffy, so we asked to move rooms. The staff responded well. We only had one room card. The breakfast was quite varied, and it was close to KI Park for morning exercise.
