The place is in the middle of Samarinda city, near the main road, lots of places to eat not far from the hotel. There is wifi and you can drink free tea and coffee to make yourself. Friendly service, feels like home. Highly recommended for friends who are looking for super cheap but comfortable accommodation.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful when checking in and out, the rooms are clean, environmentally friendly and definitely pocket friendly.

Yesterday I checked in via Traveloka, then when I was about to arrive at my destination, Mahakam didn't pick up the phone and turned it off and there was no good way to pick up the phone even though I had already paid.
