I just read here that there are already many bad reviews, about the same problem, but it seems like there is no improvement from the hotel? Because I also experienced the same thing. The blanket, the sheets are dirty and smelly, to the point that I had to use my old clothes for the pillow, the pillow was so musty, the pillow smelled to the point of not being able to breathe, the mattress was itchy, I don't know why? Like there were small insects that made it itchy. All night wearing layers of clothes because I didn't want to use the blanket. (The sheets were itchy and smelly, what about the blanket?) The room was musty and full of mosquitoes, I had to ask my husband to go out to buy mosquito repellent and air freshener. There were also spider webs. I don't know if the customer payment of Rp 350,000 seems to have no value here, not used at all for the comfort and cleanliness of the room. There's no need to ask about the floor of the room, right? The bathroom wasn't as bad as the room (which in my previous imagination was definitely dirty) the dirtiness was okay, but obviously I didn't want to take a shower. The plus was the wifi and the AC, thank God, it was quite cool.

I don't think this is a hotel, more like a guesthouse. I've read the reviews above, and it's really that bad. 1. The receptionist was busy playing on her phone until I checked in. 2. There's no elevator, the stairs are steep and narrow. 3. The building is old, the hallways look like they've been in a dark, old house. 4. The door has a manual lock. 5. The room tends to be dusty. 6. The bathroom looks like it's never been cleaned; there are remnants of short hair, lots of cobwebs, and the door is old and peeling. 7. There are no towels. 8. There are no tissues in the bathroom. 9. The paint on the walls of the room is peeling. 10. Most disgustingly, the pillows and bolsters are yellowed, stained, completely unusable, and smelly. What's so hard about buying new pillows as an investment for the future? 11. The mattress was hard, and the sheets and thin blanket were worn and had holes in them. 12. The tissue on the table seemed to have been restocked, with only a few sheets. As a result, it felt like I hadn't slept at all, and it was very uncomfortable. 13. The dining room looked like it hadn't been cleaned and was dusty. PLUS: The room was spacious, with slippers, soap and coffee, bottled water, and the food was quite tasty. Overall, you'd be better off finding another place to stay. Hopefully, the owner will make improvements in the future.

The quality is commensurate with the price. The food is delicious and quite varied. The staff service is quite good. I left my phone in the room when I checked out, and the staff immediately called and informed me. 👍

The receptionist was friendly, but the other staff were busy playing with their phones. The room floor could have been cleaner at check-in. They provided a bolster, but you can see the condition in the photos, so it's better not to provide one. The bathroom sink pipe isn't connected, so if you use it, it gets wet everywhere. Luckily, the hot water is okay. I got the room closest to the road, so the sound penetrates. There were also a lot of mosquitoes on the first day. It seems they weren't prepared to receive guests. When they tidied up the room, the sheets weren't made, just covered with a blanket. The location is okay, on the side of a big road, that's the only positive for me.

The sheets weren't changed, so it was itchy when I slept. But the staff was friendly. The faucet was faulty, so it made a buzzing sound when I slept.

It's not difficult to find culinary delights near the hotel, service is fast.

It's a nice stay here, right on the roadside, so you can find food while walking. The room is also clean, except there are no towels provided, so don't forget to bring your own.

The receptionist was responsive, assisted in upgrading the room with a fast process.

The check-in process took a long time, even though we checked in at 4 pm, there was a problem with the readiness of the room.

For breakfast, the fried rice is wet, so pay more attention to it.

Night Reception Staff 01 Nov 2025 The lady is very nice and friendly, I really like her, the room is standard for this price, the AC is quite cold, the bathroom and toilet are quite clean, but the room is not soundproof, so my child's crying can be heard outside :) Luckily no one screamed, what about my baby :) For breakfast, before 8 o'clock the bread was finished, the fruit pudding was finished, the main meal was refilled again, In conclusion, it was quite pleasant, if I want to stop by Bontang again, I will stay here
