Strategic location near the main road near Batu town square, secure parking, and an old building, not a scary place. Suitable for families. Cleanliness is maintained. The downside is that you should bring your own pillowcase and blanket if you want comfort and cleanliness, as it can be a bit dusty.

My review is not different from the one I posted on maps. The positive feedback I want to convey is: 1. The location is actually relatively strategic, very close to the church, so finding a place of worship isn't difficult. There are also plenty of food options nearby. Alun-alun Batu and Indomaret are also nearby. 2. With relatively competitive accommodation prices compared to Sahabat Backpacker 1, this hotel offers a more spacious bedroom, a bed that can sleep two people, an en suite bathroom, and a TV, although I didn't turn it on. Even more special, I got breakfast with Solo sausages and hot tea. Even though I was the only one staying, I still got two teas and two Solo sausages 😅 Minor points: 1. The alley along this hotel is relatively poorly lit, so I had to wipe it down a lot. Furthermore, the building is also old-fashioned, which I don't think is as eye-catching as Sahabat Backpacker 1, and it's next to a poorly maintained vacant lot. It creates a very creepy atmosphere. 2. Please pay attention to the bathroom mat; it looks like it hasn't been replaced. When I arrived, it still felt very wet. 3. The tea was too sweet; it would have been better to have the sugar separately. 4. Pay attention to the hotel rules; not all guests are active smokers. It's a shame there's no smoking ban inside the hotel; someone else was smoking in the living room on the second floor, causing the smoke to waft into my room. There's a curfew (11:00 PM - 5:00 AM), which is either a positive or negative. It's a good idea, and even if we arrive late, the management promises to still accommodate us. Solution: I don't want to say this hotel is bad. If you're a solo backpacker and a woman looking for accommodation near Batu Square and have a busy schedule, I recommend Sahabat Backpacker 1 because I think the location is more convenient and safe, even if you arrive late. But if you don't have many activities and are staying for a relatively short time, this hotel is okay, it could be a second option.

I was initially impressed by previous guest reviews. Turns out many of them were untrue. The hotel is old-fashioned, perhaps from the 80s. It fits. I booked two rooms. I don't think I'll ever come back. It's poorly maintained and feels like an old-fashioned inn.

Checked in at 9pm, given a room that couldn't reach the wifi signal, leaking shower, dirty toilet, lots of ants, smelly & damp room, dusty cupboard & windows, almost broken chairs, towels didn't match the photos advertised on Traveloka.
