Mixed experience during my stay at Cube Capsule Hotel. On the positive side, the place smelled really nice—the fragrance left a good first impression. The AC was cool, helping ease the heat from outside, and the staff were friendly. It was also convenient to have a microwave and access to hot/cold water anytime. Breakfast was simple but nice: bread with jam (including kaya), sliced fruits, cereal, coffee, tea, and milk. There was even a DIY egg station with eggs, butter, paprika, mushrooms, and a pan—so we could cook eggs to our liking.
However, I was disappointed that there was no info about bunk assignments—I got a top bunk with unsafe stairs and nearly fell. Staff couldn’t switch my bed and said the info should’ve been visible during booking, but it wasn’t on Traveloka. I booked a women-only room, but the bathrooms were outside and shared with men, which made me feel uncomfortable.
That said, the location is excellent—very close to the Sultan Mosque, with plenty of Halal food options nearby. MRT and bus stops are also within walking distance.
