The front desk was great, friendly, and helpful. We took a non-smoking room. But when we returned, we smelled cigarette smoke. It seemed to be coming from the next room. I don't know whether it came in through the ceiling or where. But it was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was fine.

Strategic location, close to McDonald's and other restaurants. The only downside is that the TV didn't have any channels, so I couldn't watch anything. Luckily, the Wi-Fi was stable enough to stream. The bed was large, although a bit hard. The room was spacious and clean.

I stayed in room 218 for two nights. It was nice to have a bike rental for 30,000 Rupiah for two hours, which was enough for exploring downtown Singkawang in the morning. I chose a room that was a bit more spacious, so I felt comfortable.

There is a better breakfast, especially for free.
