I underestimated this hotel before. Then I came to this hotel, a super friendly receptionist greeted us. He was really nice, he gave us some recommendations for places we should go. Unexpectedly, the room was spacious and clean.

Stayed 3 nights, 2 nights with blackouts because there was a problem with the electricity. Overall, it's a good hotel.

This was my first stay here while in Johor Bahru. The location is strategic, close to tourist attractions and the train station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The soundproofing makes it very convenient. The staff is also on hand with self-check-in. With a budget-friendly price, it's perfect for your next trip.

Close to Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street, Johor Bahru Checkpoint, suitable for transit if you are coming from Singapore, there are many shophouses and restaurants next to the hotel.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are quite clean, the management is still manual, the location is close to JB Sentral.

It was a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. If you're on holiday in Johor Bahru again, I absolutely must stay here. The hotel is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and there are plenty of food stalls and eateries nearby. So, you won't have to worry about finding food or snacks.

The receptionist was really welcoming, we arrived at the hotel early in the morning (4 AM), yet he chatted with us about our journey and what we can do in Johor~ The room was big, the bathroom equipment was more than enough, overall it's really GREAT!

Room service didn't clean the room on the second day, even though we stayed for three days and two nights. The television also couldn't be used.

Need a good place to rest while visiting Johor Bahru in the weekend. With room spacious enough to pray comfortably. Shibu Hotel is adequate. The rooms are clean and spacious. The Bathroom/toilet is also clean with good water pressure (although i don't know why they disable the overhead rain shower and allow the normal showerhead). The rooms are with Windows. Unfortunately it is facing alleyway with i think a bird nesting above its ledge or something. So they left it open permanently like 1 inch to not let the room air become stale, and opt with a curtain sort of in permanent place covering the whole thing. Don't expect too much with hotel entertainment system. haha. All in all, an acceptable place for its price range.
